and do not rely on the advice of those who have no experience / knowledge of the bank product and have merely performed a "google" search
from memory the main restriction was use outside the UK card use (and online/offline is considered too complicated for banks to explain in their literature)
The money advice service website (for the type of person who needs to be reminded to eat 5-a-day etc) does not mention UK ATM restriction for Nationwide , but does for other banks
