2 for the pot tonight - signature updated. I'm hoping that I have Christmas covered (although haven't bought any pressies yet), it may sound really sad but I'm thinking of buying some new nightwear with some of it, my dressing gown is looking a little worse for wear and I would love a matching set. A few years ago for my 40th one of my friends bought me an entire set of matching wooden hangers for my clothes which I love and yet don't think I would have thought to go and buy for myself, and I would love a nightie, dressing gown (and perhaps - go me ) - pyjamas that at least co-ordinate so that if ever I have to open the door to collect (usually ebay) parcels - I don't look like a jumble sale!!!How tragic is that......

I was going to post on here the other day about my tragic xmas pressies. I give the same three presents to the house every year: one small jar of coffee, one pack of 40 tea bags and one small bag of sugar. I woud wrap them all up and put them under the tree. So to me, your pyjama/nightie/dressing gown combo is a great pressie!!
    :o

However, yesterday I ended up in an antique shop which had a tea set (6 cups, 5 saucers, 6 side plates, a milk jug and a sugar bowl) for £25. OH and I have gone well into our flea cups (or high teas) recently so I have bought it for our xmas.
This should save us money in the long run as we can have posh high teas at home.
    :D

It will be coming out of our xmas pot as it will be wrapped up for our house's xmas pressie. And that is another pressie taken care of!!

stewby, that sounds a fantastic gift and a good find. I bought my tea set at a charity shop a few years ago, and tea does taste much better from my tea set!! Bet you can't wait for Christmas.

    Hi all

I know a lot of the year has gone past but is it ok if I join at this late stage? I'm hoping it would get me in the routine and then I can do the whole challenge in 2015.

    Thank you:D

Yay - another £ gone "plonk" into the tin. I'm getting excited - as not long to go...... but, I don't know about anyone else, I'm also going to be sad to open the tin - cos I know once the money is "revealed" it will vanish in a flash. I will DEFINITELY be doing this again though - its amazing how it mounts up and although I can't say its always been easy - I have had more willpower resisting that odd bag of sweets or bar of chocolate, in order to feed my pot.
