    Hi Stewby,

I do the same - OH & Mum both give me their £2 coins & usually they will not accept a swap for them:)

Well done IrishRose12 getting those presents organised already - I really must get my thinking hat on regarding what to buy for my "list". I'm going to go and write it now.

Thanks. I got some bits and pieces in the sales in January:j First time I'd done it and will certainly be doing it his year again! Have picked up other bits and pieces in sales also, and have just ordered a few other bits from Tesco online to be delivered this week.
Haven't paid full price for anything yet, and I intend to keep it that way!

I'm now down to £230 in my pot. Haven't paid the money I took out off my credit card, as TBH I need that money now, I don't get paid until this Friday and money's really tight ATM so needs must:( The way I'm looking at it though is the credit card can be paid off eventually, but other things are more important ATM so the tin is helping out :)

There's a few things on sale ATM in Argos that I would like to buy for Xmas pressies, so think I might take some more money out of the tin and buy them while I can and they are in stick, as knowing my luck when I get around to buying them there'll be no stock left. STory of my life every year FGS:rotfl:

I think you are absolutely right IrishRose12 to get the things when you see them - or regret it later when you are having to pay full price. We had an email through for some discount wine, ummed and ahhed about whether to get some, decided to as worked out @£3 a bottle, and thought we would put some away, by the time we got around to it - out of stock!! Ah well, we didn't NEED it anyway, but it shows you have to strike fast to grab a bargain.

£30 transferred for September and I'm loving seeing the amount going up. A whole £273/£365! :j :j I dare not touch it at the moment, solely because I like looking at my spreadsheet! I'm sure that once I start to think about Christmas, that will be soon out of the window.

We are depleted somewhat at the moment.

£118.70 but OH still has to contribute his £30 for the month of September.
    :j

I know it isn't a lot of money compared to the £600 that we should have but we have bought pretty much 60% of our xmas pressies. We only have part of OH's parents (£40 left on something), OH's sister and her partner (£25 on something) and my two cousins (£15 vouchers).
    :undecided

So we still have October's money and November's money to go in the pot (£122).
December will probably be a month off then start again in January 2015 paying in the same £1 each a day.
    :)

I know the person who made this challenge is not really active but I am grateful that she/he started it. It has really helped me.
