Won a friendly family bet and gained a £1 into the bargain, so inot the pot it went. After our serious unhappiness at having to find £400 for our MOT I have now made that my saving plan - the 365 days to save for our next MOT

I've started already, got myself a nice sealed money box in the charity shop at the weekend - will be a shame to smash it come the end of the year but will be excited to have the money for next Jan. Think I will let mine run until next January.

In addition to this also joining the credit union to get some savings behind me :) I'm not going to keep an eye on the sealed pot just let it mount up as and when and will out the £7 per week into the credit union.

lantana - why not join the sealed pot challenge as well then? Last year's total was over £45,000!

          7. I'm hoping not to get lost in April again this year. I will add £1 a day to my savings! Using a sealed can this next year for my ££s and my 20ps so they don't get rescued for bus fare!

          8. Count me in please!! Not sure if I'm gonna go with a pot or an online saving account, as I've tried both in the past and failed! I guess I have 5 days to figure out what I'll have the most success with. :)

Can I join as well please.

I already have one saving account for £20.00 per month to help pay off a long term loan.

Also going to join the sealed pot challenge, currently have 3 pots going.
