Me please, I'm going to save it up for my kids for their savings. I am already on a challenge for my debt so I think I can spare £1 a day for them :)

Count me in please. I'm not quite sure yet exactly what I'm going to do, but probably online and I may go for £2 a day.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • A great idea, I read your first post and decided then I will set up the SO to go into my unused online savings account. I'm saving to repay a massive loan early and £365 can go towards this along with my other savings plans to build up the settlement figure.

I'll do this over the weekend to start in January, always easier when it's online transfers for me so I won't forget or depend it on other things.

    Good luck everyone!

  • Well I did it and set up a standing order to go into my unused saving account to save £365 over the 12mths starting on 7th jan for 52 weeks.

Thanks for the idea and it will go towards my loan settlement plan.

Although I don't want to wish my life away, I'm looking forward to seeing the pounds add up every week in 2014! Anyone else just as sad as I am?! :D

  • Count me in please! I started a savings account late this year, and I'll end up with £300 but still pretty good! It matures on 9th January. I want to make sure that I get my £365 worth this year with extras on top. :)

I've started already, got myself a nice sealed money box in the charity shop at the weekend - will be a shame to smash it come the end of the year but will be excited to have the money for next Jan. Think I will let mine run until next January.

In addition to this also joining the credit union to get some savings behind me :) I'm not going to keep an eye on the sealed pot just let it mount up as and when and will out the £7 per week into the credit union.
