  • Hello... I have become debt free on the 29th Nov and now wish to get the ball rolling and get some savings under me. I am leaving work on the 1st October 2014 for a 5 year stint of travelling the world ( or for as long as I can ) and [STRIKE]need[/STRIKE] want £12000 under my belt.

So... £12000 (in 10 months) target for me please...

  • I remember this time last year signing up for the first time.....aww memories... I'm pretty good at saving but this forum just gave me the extra boost to save over £10k this year. Next year might not be so easy as I'm planning to spend all the savings on a new house but until that happens I need to keep saving so can you please put me down for another £10k... and we'll see what the year brings :-)
  • Another newbie keen to join. Please put me down for £12k - keen to get some savings behind me for future plans.
  • Thanks Slowly Fading for all your hard work over the last two years.

  • Well can you count me in please?

In the last couple of years, these threads have really helped me achieve my savings targets and finally get together the deposit for a house!

I have had the last couple of months to try and suss out, bills and my new budget, so am really looking forward to starting a new year with a new savings goal!

Can you put me down for £12k please!
This is likely to be a bit of a stretch for me next year, but seeing as I unexpectedly hit my targets in the last 2 years, then I'm thinking I may as well give it go!

Thanks to Slowlyfading for running this and the previous threads!

Wishing everyone a prosperous new year.... now lets get saving those pennies and pounds!
