#077 declaring £246.63 for January. Thanks to First Direct 8% regular saver 2013 plus a bit extra from no council tax and some saving of pennies :D Very pleased. Off to update sig and form.

Can't believe it is nearly February already...
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
    House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000
  • #187 - Calling my final January figure of £705.00. February might be a bit less though, so need to get ebaying/Music Magpieing/really cutting back on groceries! There's some room for reducing my bills, so I'm gonna call my bank to cancel the account they charge me £10 a month for, and I'm gonna get on to Virgin Media. :-)

Well done everyone for getting through January!

Not saved anything so far in this challenge:mad:
Although I am doing other challenges and I am doing well with those so I intend to get started soon ....
  • A really tough start to 2014 with moving house and some fairly large bills when renovating my other house that we are moving into. Over the last 6 weeks we have paid out £1,100 for the Kitchen, £480 for new carpets, £360 for fitting the kitchen, copious amounts of paint and gloss!

This has only enabled me to save my usual Regular Saver of £250 and an extra £300 this month!

The house sale is due to be completed over the next week, our mortgage payment is due on 01/02 so if we can complete before then obviously we will be able to save an additional £750!

From next month it will be all systems go on searching for a house and adding to the deposit!

    #153 Save 12k in 2015 Challenge: £15,697£12,000
  • Payday on Friday, by my estimates I'm going to end up at £1,500ish since I booked Paris...still at that average will finish at £18k...and January is my worst month followed by February!! By the end of this year I want most of January 2015s pay made and held back(on price work) so I don't feel as skint this time next year as I do now!
