parking eye Burton hospital ticket

Advice please,
My grandson was taken to Burton Hospital and was kept in for a day, but during that day my wife made a number of visits (dropping off food clothes etc) there parking in the disabled drop off bays ( she is registered disabled and that isnt the issue ) which are limited to 20mins free parking, according to parking eye she drove into the drop off area and left 1 hour 1 min later.
therefore they have managed to tag one arrival with one of her other depatures and are now expecting her to pay for the excess time
thanks:angry:

I think this deserves a special thread of its own - so thanks for pointing this out; I'll start a new thread right now.

is that the Burton on North Staffordshire with the breweries (bass?)

P~arking eye will most certainly turn down your complaint, however its clearly an unlawful penalty

    http://www.burtonhospitals.nhs.uk/news/new-car-parking-payment-system-introduced.htm

    from the above link/webpage
Payment must be made before midnight on the day you visited, though, to avoid a penalty notice being sent to your home by the parking control company.

they state that the vehicle was parked in a 20 min drop off area for over 1 hour, their evidence is by way of ANPR camera. on the day in question we had to visit the hospital at least 6 times and none of the visits lasted more than 15 mins as all we were doing was picking either daughter or son in law up and taking them backwards and forwards whilst our grandson was being kept in hospital. and on at least 2 occasions had to leave via alternative routes as the exits were blocked by other hospital vehicles and taxis ( one way we got out was by driving over the pavement) therefore on those occasions they have not logged us as leaving and have therefore not been pinged going out by the anpr cameras.
They have not provided proof because the photos they provided were not date / time stamped, but typed underneath, and the exits not listed.
the fine imposed is very unfair as the area in which it is alledged we have parked provides for free parking for 20 mins, therefore if we had exceeded our time there then there is no loss and the amount claimed is not a true estimate of loss and how can they value the loss at £100 and accept less for early payment, then the figure must be incorrect in the first place
They have not shown that they have the contact for administering the parking at Burton Hospital
this the popla appeal i plan to use any comments please
    thanks
