  • Due to the directions given you may be liable for othersides costs if you loose (at a physical hearing)
So what could that amount to?
Also if any court costs etc were paid would my daughter still have a CCJ on her credit file? I don't know how it works. Thanks

Where PPCs have won court cases the costs (including the original parking charge) have been about £200.

A CCJ is attached to a credit file ONLY in the case that you lose, costs are awarded against you by the Judge AND you refuse (or don't) pay within 28 days of the judgment.

So If we lose and I pay up for her then she won't get a CCJ on her file is that correct? I'm happy to fight this if it's worthwhile but I was worried about her credit rating for the future. Thanks again

Correct - assuming you pay within 28 days of the judgement.

Have you tried the Preston council website. Go to the planning section and look for all planning permissions against the Aldi address.

The amount of detail councils put on their web sites differs - Brighton and Hove are very good and I can inspect years of applications and conditions. Others only go back a couple of years.

The Court cases do appear to have come to an abrupt end and been replaced with pay us £50 or else threats.
They did get a couple of spankings as the early ones were people who were either stooges or no defence.
Once they hit the people defending correctly, they ran aground on the rocks.

We are all sat waiting for the next batch of well presented defence cases , they are well overdue and appear to have been dropped and replaced with £50 begging letters.
Notwithstanding it was costing them at the very least £650 to get £200 and that is if they won, it is fair to assume they are not going to take every none payer to court, they were after easy default non defended and set up stooge cases.
Now they are up against the big hitters who will take them on they have gone all quiet.
    Funny that.

What I do know is of one where the witnesses to signatories on "statements" of contract included in bundles were requested for questioning to attend the court was dropped like a tonne of hot bricks.

Very Interesting times at scamming HQ.
    Be happy...;)

Here is a possible 'lead', but it's not very conclusive.

If you're a PePiPoo member you could PM enfield freddy and ask him if he got anywhere further with this. I suspect not, given there was no further feedback - he is a fairly regular contributor and I'm sure if he'd had a satisfactory outcome he would have re-posted on the thread.

HTH - for what it's worth.

Picking up the phone to the planning department might be your best bet then. Ask what time limit is current in place according to planning conditions.
