Didnt i read that these is to be a separate LSE listing of Verizon shares?
The other thing of course is that VZ shares are on a high at the moment.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
Ifts, you were correct in interpreting my post.
I submit the following info which I lifted from The Fool.
"Verizon is listed on the NYSE and hence its shares can already be included in an ISA.
While the above its true as far as HMRC is concerned, certain ISA providers restrict their ISAs to dealing in UK-listed shares only. Barclays Stockbrokers is one such 'UK-only' ISA broker (and presumably the same applies to their Saga branded offering). The question of a UK listing is therefore of vital importance to some of us."0 -

i hadn't heard of that. can anyone confirm?0 -
If verizon is high, that does explain VOD also.
consider the question for those shares not vod perhaps
verizon is massive, it will trade in london but I think only as a CDI which all big shares can trade under.
I do not think it will list here but maybe since this deal does put so many in uk as owners0 -
There is also a VOD divi due in Feb isnt there? Im not sure if its due before or after the reorganisation date.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Sold my final VOD holding today, I'm happy enough with the gains I've made not to bother with the Verizon deal.0

Odd - the payback is the goose that laid the golden egg. Just a few weeks to go.0

I sold yesterday with a nice 20% profit. The verizon sale is factored in the price now and I could not be bothered with us$, so I have used the proceeds to buy into other stocks, most are already showing a profit. Best to make money work0

well done.
i'm still holding though. up just over 30%. happy to see how things unfurl.0 -
Have all holders now received a circular about this deal?
I have. I'm thinking of selling the Verizon via the low cost scheme Vodafone will offer. Proceeds are in dollars though which is a pain.
