I'm not that hot with ebay, but when I read the above it made my blood boil so I promptly went to a dormant account set up purely for pigsback points and bidded a stupid figure to make sure she didn't get the dosh.

It then occured to me I might have helped to inflate the price via second chance bidding, or something like that.

Theres no way I'm gonna be outbid, I'm hoping she will read this and retract the bid?.

I thought the silly figure I bidded would show straight up, but it doesn't! (that part dawned on me after I confirmed)

I just hope I've not made the situation worse.

lol sorry for laughing but it sounds like the sorta id do which youve just done lol,i wouldnt worry about it she/he deserves all they get and if the price goes high enough i doubt shell offer second chance,i really feel for people that have missed out on this holiday when theres greedy people like that about,id have love to have gone on one but am having a baby bout 2 weeks before so no chance lol,anyhow well done for having a bash nice to see someone who has some balls lol

you could always set up a bogus account and outbid yourself, making you the 2nd chance offer too!!! well done for wrecking it, I have reported some to ebay after someone blatantly (not on here) advertised the fact she was getting the hols and ebaying them, its so not fair when ppl who really wanted one have been unable to get them.

I emailed this seller and asked her how she could sleep at night, given that she was blatently ripping people off for her own gain.
She replied saying that she wasn't that bad and I shouldn't judge a book by its cover and to "show there are no hard feelings" she would give me a code and phone number to get a free day trip to france. Can you believe the cheek of some people!!. :mad:

lmao omg what a cheecky git,it really isnt fair though ill bet heres people that have lost out on that free holiday and shes making on them,and the thing is if pontins find out this sort of thing is happening then they will stop doing them and then everyone will lose out,its a shame,but theres always one that will get exceptionally greedy and ruins it for all,i hope all her auctions get !!!!!!ed up!

Well I'm not sure if I should say as someone has PM'd me to make sure they get the second highest bogus bid, but I've just looked and I can't see the bid anymore - unless its me. The bid name was ewhite2006 if someone could check.

Shocking, people selling free holidays for personal gain! On the brighter side, we got back from southport on friday night and although it needs upgrading we had a brilliant time and so did the kids, so a massive thankyou to the OP
