Well, she got her blood money. As you say, £170.99.

Pontins should ask for positive ID when people check in and it should correspond with what is on the documentation. It would be the only way to stamp this out. If someone genuinely can't take a holiday due to unforseen circumstances, then the person taking it over should be prepared to pay whatever fee Pontins stipulate to change the names. It's a bit harsh but it's the only way to stop greedy unscrupulous people like this one on ebay.

i raelly dont know how you can be so cruel as to apply for 5 holidays only to sell them and profit over £300 from free holidays its people like me who suffer i have 2 children aged 2 and 1 i applied for one of these only to be told they had all gone i think it is very selfish indeed there are many familys who just can not afford a holiday so when these come up its a godsend but obveiously to you its just

ebay prob wont do anything about it there was a free music concert on and people were selling tickets on ebay so the people running the concert contacted ebay about this but i dont think they did anything about it it was on the radio i think in the end you had to show id with your name on it that mached the ticket so they could not be sold i would say contact pontins but we dont know her name or what not :mad: :mad: and it would also be unfair on the people who paid her for the tickets although they could try claim the money back from her

Well, that may be more of a legitimate sale you got that off.

Some people may have genuinely bought and paid for a holiday and not be able to take it due to unforseen circumstances. Then of course, they are entitled to try and recoup their money.

But, this person on Ebay is selling more holidays then she could have paid for and taken in the time span so something smells fishy there.

When i found out this "woman" was putting these holidays up a few days ago i emailed her and said..
Hello, I am very interested in this holiday but before i bid i wanted to know if this was one of the free holidays that pontins have been offering over the last week and a half??
Just wanted to ask because i would not bid on something that was free and taken advantage of as I tried to get one of the free holidays but they were sold out.
I hope you understand my intolerance for people who do things like this.

SO shes admitting its a free holiday.. and is also very snotty in my opinion..so i emailed back saying bascially what id already said about it being discusting and she should be ashamed..She sent me this message back..

all you have to do is keep phoning them
i think they have a certain allocation for each day.

the whole of ebay is full of things like this
what happens if there is a competition to win a car, i enter and win, but have no driving license.
should i give it back
should i not enter if i cant drive.

Sooo she is blatently selling these holidays, putting them like "this cost £500 when booked" to make it seem like she paid for them, selling them when they were free!!! and robbing people who really could have used these holidays as they might not get to go on another one this year like myself.. :mad: :mad: :mad:
