I am happy enough to see that so many of you did get the free hol especially those with kids who wouldnt normally be able to afford a holiday. The same offer was in my paper last year and hopefully will be in again next year and I shall share again. I personally wouldnt pay for one of these breaks but they are a fab freebie!

Grateful thanks to you again for your original post., which gave a lot of people on here the only chance they had to get a holiday this year.
Re the ebay story-it would be a different thing if the person selling all the holidays on ebay, had applied for and gotten one and then tried to sell it because she couldn't end up taking it for some reason.
But to blatantly have applied and gotten so many, basically under false pretences and then to greedily sell them at the expense of other deserving people losing out, it really is a lowdown thing to do.
I also believe what goes around comes around and her day will hopefully come.
Thanks again, we went to Camber Sands and it wasn't at all bad, the weather was the worst thing!:D

I am still hoping one of us mse'rs put in that high bid, so the seller will get nowt!!

We are all so excited about our free hol, we're off to Camber sands on the 23rd, and I know a lot of other moneysavers are - should we put pics in our window of Martin or wear special badges (thinking of a sticker - cheap!) so we all know whos got these fab freebies.

Its such a shame that some people have obviously applied lots simply to sell, I do hope the offer is on again next year.

we got back from our holiday on Friday
we went to the Pontins at Prestatyn
we all enjoyed ourselves our little
flat was spotlessly clean and the
group that played in the club on
Thursday night were very good.

I am one of those that agree with you, no I didn't ebay a holiday, but did win and use one as did three other members of my family so a big thanks from me, however there was one that didn't get used out of the four, the reason for that is because it couldn't be taken due to unforseen circumstances and I chose to offer it free here but at very short notice. So it's swings and roundabouts somebody else may have ebayed it and it would not have gone to waste.

There are also many kinds of mse'rs, yes some are greedy (depending on your own personal greed gauge), some are needy, some prudent, some spendaholics even, if someone sold their holiday on for whatever reason and gained a little whilst still providing a bargain I see no harm in that. Pontin's are happy the chalet is occupied, the seller has made something out of nothing more then the wherewithal to access the knowledge, the buyer has a cheap or at least cheaper holiday than they felt they could have got otherwise, as for the one who comes along and can't get a holiday, so what that person will always be there, someone will always be there to be told SORRY THE OFFER HAS ENDED.

The seller in question however is a different beast altogether, this individual seems to be farming the holidays for profit at the expense of others.

Discodee - Your right this forum is not the place to argue but to share and inform others of information which could benefit them.

Ritetidy - You have your views and I have mine, and as Discodee states this is not the place to argue therefore I won't continue it. I was merely trying to warn people of the T&C when I got one of these holidays a few years ago, in order that no one incurred costs that they may not be able to afford (in case the same T&C applied to this promotion).

I am glad that many have enjoyed thier holidays and hope others that are due to go have a lovely time.
