But how will ebay know which have been paid for and which havent been? Also, how are they fraudulent listings?

If you have bought it from ebay, your details are going to be different to that on the booking so they will know from that - only quoting what I read elsewhere - I don't agree with those selling them on ebay so am pleased that Pontins have been notified about it.

ETA - I didn't mean you as in you if you know what I mean!!

I've never posted before so Hello!
I managed to get Monday to friday starting on the 23rd July at Camber Sands, for two adults and two children, plus they are letting me bring my own travelcot for my baby.
I really would like to swap for Hemsby! anyone interested? I don't mind the date as long as it is in the summer holidays, don't mind a long weekend either!
Hopefully someone will be interested, thankyou to whoever posted this freebie!

Compared to others, you've got a bargain, some are on there for £120 - I don't know what to suggest - it's a case here of don't shoot the messenger (please!).x

I'd hardly say you were ripped off, you seem to have got a family holiday worth around £200+ for £50, I doubt very much you will have any troubles at the resort but can understand your concerns given some of the posts on this, if it is any reassurance I have just come back from one of these holidays at Prestatyn sands, no attempts were made to authenticate my identity I handed over the paperwork they handed over the keys. I did however win mine and all was in order but in any event no checks were made.

  • Hi All, I rang for this holiday early on in the posts and got weekend break the following weekend. I received all the necessary docs by post within 3-4 days (was going within week of booking).

The guard on the gate just checked there was right amount of peeps in car for the amount on the booking form. (We was one short as my son couldn't make it).

Check-in was easy and straight forward, We was not asked for any identification, We was given a Welcome Pack and off we went to Chalet. We used about £5 electric for the week and was not in the chalet much, so bear that in mind. Linen was included in Classic Chalet and was clean.

We went Prestatyn, Wales. Chalet was very basic but clean. There was plenty to do on site and off site. Entertainment was ok, cheesy enough for Pontins.

As we all say, you get what you pay for and as this was free (thanks again to lead poster on this) I don't think anyone can complain.

Hope you all have a fab time and the sunshine comes out.

Those of you going to Prestatyn Sands (Liverpool branch) some little bits of info: The only accent I heard during my stay was scouse.
Chips: Best place for chips (And they were delicious) "The Best" located on the corner just in town centre of Prestatyn, £1 a bag (tell them you don't want a plastic tray you get more chips and the things are polutants anyway) only tasted the chips in there but they really were special so give them a go.
The site istelf is rundown in some areas but plusher in others, all seems clean, fire alarms did go off and they seemed to be having problems with the electrics in the one showroom, everybody seemed to be having a right old time. As with all sites it's geared to milk you of your cash, play smart and self cater wherever possible, there is a Somerfield five minutes walk from the site and Sainsbury's and Morrisons five mins drive so don't be suckered in to the onsite eateries which in all fairness are not to unreasonable in their pricing.
Please don't let your kids have those re-fill drinks bottle/cup things four days of pouring that shlt down their necks is going to have them hyper and fat all in one week.
The seagulls are hungry, if you have a balcony chalet the seagulls will queue like areoplanes in a holding pattern at an airport for you to chuck food for them to catch and amuse the kids.
Lots of various types of entertainment for kids and adults on site, leap of faith, rock climing, go karts, tennis, football, pool tournament (Prize was another weekend holiday free in November) face painting, those little silly four wheeled ride around the park car/bike type thingies, football, wall to wall amusements, bingo, talent contests, comedien/absolute disaster, magician/absolute disaster, they tried hard but were abysmal.
All in all plenty to do and the beach not five mins walk away.
One big minus though NO FRESH DOUGHNUTS AVAILABLE ON THE BEACH

Did I mention it's full of scousers, that's absolutely fine with me, especially the kids, there's nothing in this world cuter than a four year old scouser!! I hope you all enyoyed your stay in our beautiful country.

Ah not forgetting the teenagers, well for the boys it's heaven, you'll get a fight AND fvck if your lucky! For the girls then theres plenty of young fellars to strut your stuff to!
