Free Pontins Holiday! Be quick!

Southport town is fabulous - lovely shops on Lord Street and a new traffic-free shopping street parallel to it. There's a big multi-screen cinema, bowling alley, restaurants and a few shops near the sea front very near the pier. A walk along the pier and a coffee in the building at the end of it is a nice way to pass an hour. It's a classy town but the seafront could do with a makeover.

thanks guys for reasuring me,i no its free but the things iv read make me wonder if this is why its free-if you know what i mean?! im so gratefull as we wouldnt have got away otherwise,i am looing forward to going as iv read some good things about the entertainment and how they are with kids and thats why im going for my son but needless to say i was very scared of what i will find waiting for me but if i expect a really dirty holiday home for the week anything else is going to be an amazing bonus isnt it?! at the top of my list of items to take with us is all my cleaning things!! lol

Caz, i am one of the worlds biggest worriers!! I worried that it wasnt a free holiday!! But im not worried abt going there!!:D go enjoy yourself!! I will be!!

Thought it wouldnt be too long before people starting listing their FREE holiday on ebay!

Type in pontins and there are quite a few listings, you'd have thought people would just offer them on here.

There was loads of them sold last year as well and most made £80 or a bit less. I think its a shame as Pontins have done this as an advertising scheme to get some business in. I think its a fantastic idea dn great for those who wouldnt otherwise be able to have a holiday.

For those worrying about the accomodation, ours was basic but had everything we needed. I am a bit of a clean freak and i was happy there last year. I have stayed at worse accomodation which was one the sun £9.50 holidays. You have to remember it is free for a reason, they need business drumming up and money coming back in.
The entertainment was fab when we went, dd met barney and dennis the mennace. It was like disney to her! Well worth it for kids.

I am sorry you feel that way because i am one of those terrible people.I won holiday to Southport and it is 6 hrs drive from me, i tried everyway to change it with Pontins and they wouldn't let me and I tried several times to swap it on here with no luck so what i done was bought a holiday at Hemsby last night off of ebay and put my Southport one up for sale hoping to get about the same as I paid so I still get a free holiday.
After all if you won a TV in a competition and didn't need it would you give that away?

personally i "won" a holiday but as i could not get the dates i wanted or indeed the location i said thanks but i will leave it for someone else.

R-R I don't think the op was referring to selling the holidays so much, the link above is "for information only" read the auction and you will see there is no holiday for sale just the knowledge of how you MAY get one, as we all know most of them are gone and the successful bidder will receive almost certainly NOTHING.
