Can I join please I am going to save for 2014 christmas ,I do not usually save any coins ,so I am buying a tin to put the £2 coins in

Update I bought a tin from £1 shop yesterday, then my sister came to tea told her I was going to save £2 coins ,she put £2 coin in tin to start me off,(thanks sister)
Today I went to the sales to get Christmas cards/paper and was given a £2 coin in change ,so that's me started looking forward to seeing how much I save in 2014

I've added you and your target, if you've set one, to the list on post 2, page 1.

    Happy hunting :D

  • Managed to change some £1 coins so I could nab DH's £2 coin yesterday. Up to £6 now, I've put them in my terramundi as I want to try and save some £1 coins as well.
  • First one in the pot today.
    TOTAL DEBT - £10866.22/£450.06 PAID O/S £10416.16
CC - £174.69 - The rest is a family loan and other debts which are 0%
    August Grocery Challenge - £0.00/£250.00

  • Can I join please. I did this last year and saved almost 150.00 - I put it towards moving costs and what a help that was! I am now saving for a new lap top and have about 30.00 in the pot since November (does that count) and 30.00 Amazon voucher.
  • Forgot to add a target - 170.00 would be good - to beat last year. Oh and it goes in a sealed pot (will have to sell the tin opener I suppose). Anyone like to buy a tin opener - cheap - only 2.00 !
By the way I sometimes add 1.00 coins too - does this count against me (pardon the pun).

I didn't join last year but did in 2012. I'll join in again this year if that's ok
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
