As we've started at the same time, we should battle each other and see who can get the most?
What you think?

8? Wow! Any tips?
Everyone knows that I collect them so if my family owe me for shopping they pay me in £2 coins, the local farm shop saves them for me in my change, even the lady in the sandwich shop near my office asks if I'm still collecting them and swoops them into my change. So unfortunately no real secret except that the folks that know me well know of my strange compulsion for coins in general, but especially £2 coins. I should hang my head in shame here but am among friends so will admit that I haven't spent a single £2 coin that I have had hands on since October 2010, almost the same for my DH - he has admitted to spending one in that time  They are all in that piggy sitting on my window sill.2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!

I get most of mine from automated machines - Self check outs, the machines at car parks etc..It's so good though that people know you collect them, makes it much easier for you!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #137 (£4.13)

It works out quite well for me as I don't often go to supermarkets or anything like that so these nice people keep me going.
Just seen your signature Richy, good luck with your 2014 goals2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!

Thank you very much - and good luck with yours! I have applied for one more on the boards, but haven't added to sig yet!
I don't think any of them are too high - If I go above them then fantastic! Too high and I get uninterested!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #137 (£4.13)

I definitely follow your thinking on that one, if something seems unachievable it's far to easy to get disheartened and ultimately give up, setting your goals the way you describe gives you the chance of possibly achieving your goal early which is a great buzz and you can always increase it
I'm guessing we might cross paths reasonably often through the year as I frequent six or seven of the challenges on here (must update my sig) and you seem to have similar nocturnal tendencies.2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!

I banked £20 yesterday, so I'm on my way to paying for my car tax in October! :j :j
DH was telling his work colleagues about me saving £2 coins for my road tax. One thought it was a great idea, another just didn't get it as he just bungs it on his credit card. Sadly, the one who didn't get it is up to his eyeballs in credit card debt. I'm lucky that I saw the light a good few years ago. :ASealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

I joined this challenge when the old thread was running and have posted a couple of times not realising it had moved here. What a fool I am.
Anyway after much waiting I have today got another £2 making it to the grand total of £4.
