Love this thread! I save my £2 coins Xmas to summer hol then till xmas again . I usually get £200 at least. I'm about to count mine in next few weeks it pays pet sitter/ holiday spends in summer and xmas treats in December.

Maybe in the wrong place but I have just smashed my teramundi started on 1/1/09 and I now have £586 but what do I do with them to get them in the bank. Only go to town once a week if that so at 5 bags a time it is going to take a while .
Any other suggestions.
I have thought of paying at self scan in tesco then transferring that amount from shopping money, but even that will take a while.

Another 3 in my pot. Tonight I've been a bit of a geek and looked up the different designs of the £2 coin. After a few drinks me and the hubby got on to looking up old coins, I went into my mums collection of old coins and you'll never guess what I found..... an actual guinea dated 1797. Next time I get a guinea £2 I'll photograph the two together.

Be careful where you take the coins - some coin counting machines charge 7% for the privilege of using the machine!!!!
