As I have said before, As long as they hold one copy of Issues they cannot be touched. That is why they usually all have one copy in a plastic cover, which they will never hand over.
I reported a Roma beggar in my local area, the PSNI went out and phoned me back saying he is selling Issues and therefore they can do nothing. I asked have you tried to buy said copy, and he just laughed.0 -

It still irritates me. I don't have an issue with a random person but these beggers now recognise me and pester all the more, even though I do not give them anything. They sit in the same places, day after day. Honestly, could we not come up with a nationwide scheme and pay these sorts of people a few quid to go and pick up litter or something?!Always overestimating...0

Somebody must be giving them money otherwise they wouldn't keep turning up in the same places.
I'm not sure a scheme would work though, certainly not when we're talking about the Roma. They are run by a gangmaster, although that could be a family member. Begging is what they do.0 -
Buskers are busy this morning at Donegal square, there is a guy just opposite McDonalds on an accordion absolutely murdering "Jingle Bells," now I'm not musically inclined but I would have thought this a relatively easy tune to play.0

They're out that early? Now that's a bit of a revelation.0 -

The guy with the violin trumpet can start as early as 8 am and is there all day Monday - Saturday and in actual fact I've seen him playing as late as 8 pm on a Saturday. Not sure if he is there on a Sunday but I presume he probably is.0
