Yes I was, I had full everythingFor me, as of yesterday, on Sky, 101 is BBCNI HD, 102 is BBC2 SD, 103 is UTV HD and 104 is Channel 4 SD. BBC2HD is still at 142 and Channel 4 is at 230. What a mess!
As was the same for me. HD didn't replace SD, infact when I joined Sky called me and I said to him if you have HD it should replace SD and the guy said 'thats a really good idea'
Go figure...don't care now, went back to Virgin - at least thier epg is less cash powered...0 -

For those of us on the English side of the Irish Sea, all of the first five channels 101-105 are Standard Definition and their HD equivalents remain dotted around the EPG.For me, as of yesterday, on Sky, 101 is BBCNI HD, 102 is BBC2 SD, 103 is UTV HD and 104 is Channel 4 SD. Best to use the "Favourite Channels" option for HD, I think.0 -

No they don't but at least they are within the same ballpark of the SD - as for the channels in HD gap, its not that much anymore...oh and BT Sport (3 HD channels...) doesn't cost me £180 a year on VM

I still can't quite get my head around why the BBC still show news on BBC1 and regularly interrupt regular programming on BBC2 for sporting events. They have a dedicated news channel, and could easily roll BBC 1, 2, 3 and 4 in to 3 more coherent channels (drama on One, non-fiction on Two, comedy on Three) to allow a dedicated sports channel to be created.
The whole system is still chained to the old terrestrial viewing format, despite the fact that it no longer makes much sense. The EPG placement of the various BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky channels is utterly bizarre and jarring - they are all seemingly scattered at random throughout the EPG. Surely it would be better to give the individual channels an identity, and then group them by broadcaster or genre within the EPC. Sky and Channel 5 have at least made an attempt at doing this.0 -
The BBC has to promote its left wing Guardian news agenda as often as it can. Walk to wall coverage of the death of the nice African man is an example. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Bizarrely 101 - 105 are SD except for 102 which is now the BBC2 HD.
141 is still BBC1 HD and 142 is now BBC2 SD.
BBC News HD is well hidden at 570.
No logic at all.0 -
Thats odd, On my Sky box they are 141 and 142.
FYI, Got the improved search update last night, it uses an interweb to suggest programmes as you type.
Not as good as the Sky+ app on IOS or Android, but better. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Atlantic aside, I mean to say the gap is not that much anymore on the things worth watching...I personally hope that E! HD stays on Sky, means the other half doesn't record anywhere near as much crapovision as she did on Sky...(oh but then again, when she does want to record something at least she can do three recordings at the same time...;)
