But you have emailed the appeal now anyway. What about the complaint as already discussed above, time to get the stupid ticket quashed, so Google the Centre name.

:)I contacted the landowner Orbit Developments and they were unhelpful.

I have received a reply from UKPC from my appeal, they have spouted a lot of legal jargon, and referred to past cases for legal precedent, they have also included a photo of the signage saying it complies with BPA regulations.

They have advised a letter has been sent separately with a POPLA form attached.

Could anyone advise me how I should appeal this?

Any advise is much appreciated :)

funny how they always quote cases that they won, or others won, but always fail to quote any that the motorists win , how typically one-sided of them !!

just because they think signs comply with the BPA CoP (which are not legal regulations) , that doesnt mean its lawful or that they have complied with all the laws here, otherwise they would win everything at popla and in court too

now you have a popla code, start from scratch in the newbies sticky thread and find similar examples and adapt them accordingly, then copy and paste from notepad onto here for checking , minus any personal info etc

there are 2 examples in there for this particular PPC, but the examples need adapting according to your bullet points listed in post #4 which should only take you half an hour or less to draft one up and adapt it

so how hard can it be ?

ps:- the 5 minutes overstay never complied with this either
    1) No grace period has been given to enter and leave the car park
and that is definitely in those "regulations"

Well posts #5 and 6 and 7 all advised you to read the FAQs and advice in the Newbies thread. Therein lies your answer about 'How to win at POPLA'.

Funny how they are happy to claim conformance to BPA CoP when it suits them, yet have completely ignored the grace period, also in the CoP, which they MUST comply with. I'd throw that back in their face, and ask them to explain why they have failed to comply with that part of the CoP.

If you don't receive that alleged separate correspondence with POPLA code shortly, then complaints will need to be raised.

I've still not had my POPLA form from UKPC, do I need this from them to appeal?

YES! you need the 10 digit numerical code which is date sensitive.

UKPC try and bury within their letters - are you sure you haven't received the code - say at bottom of letter?

If not then a strong complaint to the BPA and DVLA are required see NEWBIE thread for email addies.
