Me? The last time I washed my car was when I'd left it under a streetlight in an airport carpark-one that turned out to be a favourite perch of the local seagull population. I didn't see how I could ask the car washers to tackle it...
Generally...I take it to be washed and vacuumed every four to six months. Sooner if it needs it (cough).import this0 -
depends how dirty it gets.. hoovered out about once a monthSealed pot challenger # 10

When the number plate gets difficult to read or the only part of the windscreen I can see out of is whether the wipers clean! Well not quite that bad but not far off.0

At this time of year not a lot. In the summer more. Love my little convertible. I did clean it every week when it was new. But im getting lazy and where I live its an effort to get the buckets and cleaning bits out. I will be taking it to a supermarket to have there ones clean it nearer xmas so it doesn't look grubby when I visit the relatives :rotfl:0

Never. I did used to try washing it when I first started driving - but could never reach the middle of the roof and would end up soaking wet. Then I tried car washes, but they're scarey and never did a good job.
So I don't bother.0 -
I only just bought a new car... But my previous one, which I had for 5 years, only got washed once. And that was when it went to the garage for it's first service. I didn't ask them to wash it, they just did. Must have been part of the deal or something.
I find that, living in a town, the car never gets very dirty, and rain takes care of any dust or general grime build up. In my experience, it's only cars that "live" in rural areas that get properly dirty.Because it's fun to have money!

About every 3 months, take it to the local car wash place and get a mini valet for £15, takes about half a hour while the OH reads the paper. Smells lovely inside when it's done.
We don't have access to a hosepipe and with us both having health conditions, carrying buckets of water is out, so it's perfect for us to visit the local washery.0 -
Never ....... My husband does it for me ! :rotfl:Early retired - 18th December 2014

My neighbour has a huge !!!!in weeping willow which deposits leaves, branches as well as its inhabitants excrement all over my car, house, driveway, gutters etc. So washing the car is a masochistic, futile enterprise.
The said neighbour did most graciously say that we could "chuck any broken branches back over his side" which is most generous of him.0 -
I get it cleaned inside and outside three or four times a year at a cost of £8 a time. I never clean it myself.0
