You didn't say it correctly the first time. The phrase, for the next time, is: "Oh we'd love to go to that restaurant - just not with YOU"

    :)

Trust me, they only ask once.

We said the truth which is, we'd like to see you another night but not that one. Every day, every phone call. Which ever of us took the call, in different words, but the same thing.

But now I am feeling more like yours :D. Feeling will pass though.

Does Harry Potter live in leavesden? I was under the impression that he lived in a magical fairy castle somewhere in the north?!

I thought you said he wasn't real!

You lot have been chatty today. I haven't actually managed to get dressed yet so I would be perfectly happy staying in, but we're going for a curry with friends from DD's school and back to theirs. It's only about a mile away, so we're walking. The weather is lovely now, hopefully it will hold out.

I'll let you into a secret.... nobody actually does it. People post they will do it, that they are doing it, that they've done it .... but on the Internet nobody can tell you're sitting in a hoarder's grubby delight in your stained underpants.

    Yeah, I've done mine too....

    :)

Sounds more sensible than any other idea. In NI you have(or had) to wear special "R" plates for a year after you pass (Poland used to make you stick a green apple sign in your car window). You could make it easy to identify new drivers that way.

We make drivers wear red P plates for the first year after passing their test and green Ps for the next.

They say that the definition of speeding is that you're keeping up with the P platers.

I told DH I wouldn't be doing what we traditionally do at new year,..and well.....weekends, until he's sorted out his boxes that have crept back into our bedroom. :o.

As I have been sleeping on 'his ' side of the bed a lot in the last week I have found it really annoying when I get up and have no where safe to put my feet down. Then I have to wake hi. Up and the cats up just so I can get up and go and let the dogs out but getting out on 'my' side of the bed.

So, I keep trying with plums and star anise, I keep thinking the combination should work for me.....

This afternoon it was marshmallows, having left the juice to infinite since yesterday.

In my mind these were to come out pink, maybe a sort of pale puce. In reality its beige. Quick addition of food colouring.

And the smell? Well, its more cough mixture than eastern promise. At least they are seasonal candy, right?

You are aware that Harry Potter isn't real?

So who is that sleeping in the cupboard under our stairs?
    I think....

Maybe you need to live as if you live in a studio flat.... having all those spare rooms means you can just accumulate stuff as there's plenty of room to move stuff around and plonk it down etc.....

Or just accept you're hoarders and board out that 4' high room specifically as your own self store room :)
