    our best deal this year was christmas dinner for 24p christmas eve in waitrose!!

    we used £20 of John Lewis vouchers accumulated through surveys and ended up with a free range organic chicken, potatoes, carrots, mixed roasting veg, 4 pints of milk, 24 assorted cream cakes, 12 mince pies, chocolate biccies, chocolate pudding, 2 bottles of red wine and an apple juice. That's just what I can remember!!! happy days!

    Boundary mills... Jaeger wool dress rep £180. I paid £35.10!!

    I've always thought the best time to buy and stock up for Xmas is just after xmas is over, and they are trying to get rid of wrapping paper/jumpers other xmas themed gifts or christmas tree decorations. So end up giving hugee reductions and you are prepared and ready for next christmas! This thread just proves it :)

    I was after a phone & tablet for daughter. Was looking to pay approx £120 for tablet, similar £ for phone. Then there would be calls on top of that. Managed to get both for £11.99 month (contract 2 years), including calls. Very happy with this as works out the calls/text/data is almost free for 2 years. Icing on the cake was Quidco tracking at £35.

    Being given a Nintendo DS for free from someone who would have thrown it away. This gift was the most wanted on my six year olds Santa list & saved us over £50 on a second hand DS from elsewhere

  • I got quite a few bargains..lovely bhs ragdolls £6 instead of £12. 3 Lancome mascara gift sets 10% off plus a free full size eye makeup remover and 100 pounds worth free giftcset all for £54!!!. Also used the 40% off code for body shop and saved £22. I made my 7 nieces and nephews pj cases so saved there too. Ive already started on next yrs. Got the hello kitty deal- trolley case n purse for £5.99. Also got bath bombs n manicure sets for 50p each in the wilkos sale. Great for teachers or little extrss. I love a bargain!

  • Managed to get a 'Specially Selected' panettone in Aldi yesterday, reduced from £5.99 to 99p! Bargain :)

    I got the blue Teksta puppy in the Boots sale instead of £54 I paid £15. Over the moon as my son wanted it but it was too expensive so he can now have it for his birthday
