Just booked a night at a hotel and spa for £21.30 each and three course meal for £21.30 each. Been here before and room rate usually over £100 so this is for DH's xmas treat
Got some brand new sheepskin slippers for MIL from charity shop for £2.50 and various toys for dd from amazon with at least 75% off. All helps to this forum.

Best bit is that xmas has all been paid for by stuff I've sold on ebay so xmas this year is free

Also following on from Martins article on missing clubcard points I found £38 of nectar points so that is going towards the xmas shop- so hurray for MSE

My best bargain was 8 bread bins from Tesco for 56p each. I noticed when visiting family no one seemed to have a bread bin and when this offer came around I thought why not. So, I have filled them with various bogtf offers to fill them up. Bread bin hamper in all cost me about £5 per family, which I think it a great gift idea rather than individual gifts. I did give body shop stuff our last year, however, most of that ended up recycled by them so food I think is a better idea. :)

  • Definately my Samsung Tablet that I got on the black friday misprice event. At £129 for the 10 inch which retails at about £270 elsewhere.
its not so much the price etc thats important, its because i ordered a *laptop* last year from kgb deals for my daughters birthday...it took months past birthday to arrive, then the thing that arrived wasnt what I ordered and you cant even get internet on it. A total waste of money it was. when i saw the tablet i thought at least she could use this so fingers crossed as its all wrapped up now:o

A parcel from Lakeland delivered to me by mistake, when I rang Lakeland to tell them about it, I was told, keep it with our compliments! AND there was a voucher in for 12 bottles of wine for price of delivery (£4.99) 2 gifts and 2 items that I'd wanted for ages but couldn't justify spending the money on them.
Also a 16lb fresh, free range, organic turkey for £38.

  • I got a pair of Just Sheepskin Boots from Debenhams for £22.50. Currently online for £160.

I have purchased very few full price items this year, got several things from Boots either half price or OOTW, got some good deals on Amazon & M&S so I have spend less than I normally would but have got far more/better gifts than usual!

Yes, I found them instore about a month ago. They were with the shoes/boots with other Just Sheepskin boots. They only had the pair I got with a reduced label which makes me think either it was a mistake or I got very lucky and got the last pair! However, the right size for my mum who has wanted a pair for ages so I was very pleased
