Since 1976, and still as good as ever. Though I have to be honest and say I preferred it when you couldn't book, just turn up and queue - it showed you were keen to eat there, and it was a good atmosphere in the queue, enjoying a drink and chatting to other people in the queue.
The salumeria (deli) next door is excellent, too, for proper Italian ingredients.

No I haven't. There's two, isn't there? If I'm in town and fancy Italian, I usually go to Da Mario's (but haven't been for, oooh, several years now).

I was at work one day, sporting a new pair that had taken my eye (we had a quite formal dress code at that time but I was a bit naughty and used to get away with it so I used to wear a stretch mini skirt, thick patterned tights and DM type shoes :eek:) and my boss said....ooh The Scream, I love that painting, where on earth did you get those tights, my wife would love a pair

Up until that point I had no idea who or what the scream was, so thank you sock shop and my old boss :T
