I don't know about job interviews, but my luck (or none) with wombles - why did they have to buy Pedigree Chunks in Jelly £6.23 A, £5.50 T:T together with Fosters 20 pack £11 A £15 T:(:(, thus wiping out that brilliance on the dog food and probably wiping out any difference on anything else as well?

Haven't even entered the receipt yet - so I don't know what I'm talking about - it might well return with something vs somewhere else (very much doubt it though:(:rotfl:).

I might try (from scratch) for a full price collection at my second-choice Morries tomorrow - torn between staying longer there and hoping for a possible night glitch - might the Pringles, now £1 in T, go on £1 r'back tomorrow and be £1 or 'any 2 for £2.50'? Currently £2.30/any 2 for £2.50, though I must say it looked like the SEL was quite new tonight in my A, but what do I know?

The APG's own Wednesday collection is just as normal again - lasts till the following Monday/into Tuesday whenever the prices are updated. It's next Monday's one (23rd December) that will last until Saturday 28th/Sunday 29th if caught early enough (we're told the prices will be updated on the Sunday). I may or may not visit M on 23rd December - though I was always planning on going on Friday 27th (this should last on APG from 29th December until 4th January (5th January if caught early enough)) - not sure what form my price checking (price 'look' or price collection?) on that Friday will take now.

Wanting to do my second click and collect but can only see pork and wine going to half price tommorow. What am I doing wrong?
BTW Go Mimi. Feel I have known you for ages since the Boots days so wishing you the best.

Ooooops! I did it again. :)

Applied for a job when I was ill last week. The job is quite a senior post and I knew I would never stand a chance.

Got a letter today and a telephone call asking me to attend an interview. Also got told my application was the best they had received.

Do I just go for the interview for a laugh or just tell them I have changed my mind?

    HELP!

Just go for the experience, try your hardest and if they offer you the job then you can make an informed choice whether you want it! You should be really good as you will be relaxed!

Not much going half price rose. There were few things I need for xmas so ordered them and made the most of ecoupons that are around. ;)

Ok I understand. Missed last week as I was away working but no bother will try again in the New Year.

It's the same authority but a totally different department. I will have my own bia£ch (sorry assistant) too. I won't have to go to Sada, I can get whoever it is to go for me. Hahaha. Just kidding.

Thanks all. I think I did need the kick up the butt. I've got a colleague in my team who always puts me down and my confidence goes through the window hence being unsure I could do the job.

What's the worst that could happen eh. I might as well go for it.

    Thanks ELITE x x x

Yes yes yes you absolutely should go for it :T

    Good luck :)

Oh, a small return vs M.

The Smirnoff compared to same price at M, and I'll take that result (though I've no choice not to have I really?:rotfl:). The Horlicks vs M though -! Oh, Egg Custards 2 pack now comparing vs M (buy in 2s instead no doubt? M 2 for £1?), M changed the formulation and they stopped comparing on the APG but are now comparing again, and I'm not one to argue with that, although, signed in, I now have T at 90p on the four pack, so that instead vs T. T on the Light Malt Horlicks showing pricing in red, as 4 for £1 in T. No point buying in 12s as they did. Vs 89p on the Fruit Pastilles is not a good price IMO.
