Wahey! Couple of advent calendars in the cupboard. The Skylanders ones go out of date in November 2014 so no good for keeping BUT the fair trade ones are in date until Feb 2015. I think I'll pick up more if I see them and save them for the foodbank to have next Christmas
No luck with the Halloween chocs sadly
I would eat chocolate a month past its date - not that it would last that long here.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I have not bothered hunting the Halloween chocs this time round, far too late for the stores to have any hanging around down here. I usually remember if I have seen something instore the last I saw was in the seasonal aisle and is now filled with mince pies etc.
Please can I ask how much the fair trade advent calendars are now?0 -

Hi there - it really is so much better shopping completely contrary to how most people do, including shopping much later at night - much quieter, no crowds to fight through (get outta tha' way!:rotfl:) and little traffic on the roads - so much better.
Got a womble where they have bought 12 of the same Horlicks:rotfl:. Probably not very good though, as it'll pick up two mbuys and no mbuys elsewhere. Unless... Mr M comes to the rescue.
Do we think that the M prices have updated now to Monday's prices? The womble appears to have Smirnoff Red Vodka on it (the 70cl version), just wondering if M had that on offer or now has it on offer? Does anyone know? Anyway, if I ponder too much, I will end up with Monday's prices by default.0 -

Ooooops! I did it again.
Applied for a job when I was ill last week. The job is quite a senior post and I knew I would never stand a chance.
Got a letter today and a telephone call asking me to attend an interview. Also got told my application was the best they had received.
Do I just go for the interview for a laugh or just tell them I have changed my mind?
HELP!0 -
