Ooooops! I did it again.
Applied for a job when I was ill last week. The job is quite a senior post and I knew I would never stand a chance.
Got a letter today and a telephone call asking me to attend an interview. Also got told my application was the best they had received.
Do I just go for the interview for a laugh or just tell them I have changed my mind?
HELP!

No, you go to the interview seriously and with the intent of getting the job. Read up all about the company and the job. Give it your best shot. Best of luck.:)0 -

Go to the interview! Why not? You applied on a whim so you should definitely go.

Thanks QOC. I'm just being a big sooky lala. It just threw me a bit when I got the telephone call as I had not expected it whatsoever.
So excited but also bricking it!0 -

Curious. Was this for an internal or external post.
Maybe you have been selling yourself short and you are qualified to do the job.
Interview would be good experience so I would say take it seriously as they obviously like you.
