Go to the interview! Why not? You applied on a whim so you should definitely go.

    Serendipity :)

I knew scamps and COT would pop up with loads of sweets :rotfl:

I'm gonna give the party bags to my friends and neighbours kids, I only get them for the buzz :D

Curious. Was this for an internal or external post.

Maybe you have been selling yourself short and you are qualified to do the job.
Interview would be good experience so I would say take it seriously as they obviously like you.

It's the same authority but a totally different department. I will have my own bia£ch (sorry assistant) too. I won't have to go to Sada, I can get whoever it is to go for me. Hahaha. Just kidding.

Thanks all. I think I did need the kick up the butt. I've got a colleague in my team who always puts me down and my confidence goes through the window hence being unsure I could do the job.

What's the worst that could happen eh. I might as well go for it.

    Thanks ELITE x x x
  • Evening everyone, hope everyone's had/having a good day and hugs for those who aren't :).

Had one of those days today went on a supermarket info drive, was quite shocked at Lidl's prices haven't been there for a while everything seems to of gone up or the same price as Morries, checked in at Aldi walked out with not a lot, ended up at Sains decided to buy one of each of their own brand tins and sauces etc just to see what they are like the go back and stock up on a few of the ones we like, I shop in Morries but dont like their own brands tin's peas etc. I'm trying to get more organised with food basics. I lost my trolley token in B&Q :( it was a yin and yang one that I found in a random trolley someone hadn't bothered to take back to the trolley park a few weeks ago, I should of put one of those travel bugs on it! Spent the rest of the day trying to find a Mr T receipt for some boots I bought and paid full price for  but want to return them I bought them for an event at the weekend as back up if I didn't have any in my wardrobe but I cant find it, does anyone know Mr T's return policy I can only find the one for online orders, is there even a slim chance I could get a credit note or have the boots found a home.

Ooooops! I did it again. :)

Applied for a job when I was ill last week. The job is quite a senior post and I knew I would never stand a chance.

Got a letter today and a telephone call asking me to attend an interview. Also got told my application was the best they had received.

Do I just go for the interview for a laugh or just tell them I have changed my mind?

    HELP!

Go for it mimi.....you don't want to look back and think "if only"

    Good luck:T
