  • Good morning

Thanks again for all the kind messages over the weekend, they really made me feel better. Yesterday I had a collapse day and did nothing. So today, I have already wrapped presents, written cards, done two lots of washing and tidied up.

Just off to take the presents for my son and family then off up the M1 to Rochdale. I have the lists ready for my shopping but not quite got to any supermarkets yet.

I did try the M&S glitch but the prices appeared as I tried to check out

    Have a great day everyone

    Morning gang
Please could I have an extra big hug today as things are pretty bad.
My (aspergers) son who only got engaged a few weeks ago has been dumped by his fianc!e and she has signed up to work abroad:(
She was really brutal to him and all I could hear was him sobbing, its really terrible as its been going on for about five days and he has been sick/upset tummy etc, he looks so skinny already and yesterday he weighed himself and he has lost a stone .....
to add insult to injury she wants to see him Friday to finalise a few t hings, I think he shouldn't go as she is loving it and he is just being tortured more.
We are going to all help clear his room tonight as there are many things that remind him and they need to be put away, I am so worried about him as all he does is cry.

speacil big hugs to you and your son must be really hard for him and for you seeing him like this, just be there for him and dont let him distance himself from the family my ds1 did this after his wife left him and it made it harder for him:(

How awful for you Wendy. I'm sure we feel the same pain as our kids do, if not more so. Bless him I hope he soon gets over her and thank goodness you are there to help him. I really don't know what to suggest except try to keep him occupied. Hope all goes well xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Hi :), i have recently discovered this thread and i keep returning to read it, you are all so nice to everyone, it feels like looking into a big family.

I admire your dedication to this thread and how you are able to (and can be bothered to) go out shopping day and night. Day in day out.

Anyway i have 2 £10 playstation vouchers (from Sun perks- they have been restocked today) that i don't need.

Unfortunately, i have had to put these into my 'recycle' bin.:D.

    Welcome springblossom28.

A gentle hint, you'll have RedFox, our lovely mod, after you if you offer codes etc on this thread, it causes MSE problems. You might like to edit your post.

Stick around and do join in. :)
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Morning ALL!:D

Advanced maths coming up. My gang are all 2 years apart except at this time of the year as the birthdays are December, January and February so its not until February that they are all the correct distance apart.
Eldest one is 25 so it could be 30 years or 31, def not 29 - or maybe but 83 seems to stick in my head :rotfl:
