He reckons anything that goes into his account will get eaten up by charges and stuff. There's no way I'm having my money swallowed up like that. He gets paid weekly. I think he should try harder, he text me not even 3 hours after he left my house

He was fine with money until he met his girlfriend. Since then, they've had to have the so called best of everything. But it's all on tick

He was off sick for 5 weeks and was only being paid ssp. Now fir that 5 weeks while he was waiting to see the company doctor, he will have known that his car still needed to be paid. And yet he sat down and did nothing. For FIVE WEEKS. I'm finding it hard to have much sympathy with him right now. There's a big part of me that thinks he's taking advantage of me. Or rather his girlfriend is, iykwim.

My mum will be giving my dad earache about it. In turn, while he won't do it on purpose, that then puts added pressure on me

They're all coming to me fir Christmas and I already feel almost like I don't want to be in the same postcode as them, let alone have them in my house. She's just plain weird. She sat in the car for 40 minutes earlier while me and my brother tried to sort all this out

    Evening all......

Mixed issues with the A v S shop I said I was doing this afternoon.

Our useless A's had no Asda bakewell tarts on shelf.... these match £1 to 75p. (Too many mince pies out me thinks!) They also had no dog food for Clicksnap, wanted it to do APG against S price. Loads of other 6 can packs, but not the puppy in jelly one needed! (I don't actually mean 'puppy in jelly'! :o ) A's better hurry up and get on with building our new store, although it's somewhat further from where I live, but not too far from my folks.

    Anyway....

Baby food working, ;) Aunt bessies are also for Clicksnap, but on mys the Asda non bio is supposed to match to Sainsbobs one for £3, so i'm not sure why it didn't work? Oh well, I'm only as far as buying my second box since getting quite a stash from T's sometime back. I knew I should have got more but just couldn't store it. :rotfl:

how many baby food did you buy please?
I thought you had to buy 11 of 1 particular flavour and 1 of another flavour, but cannot see any other baby food on your results?

Probably a bottle of wine followed by a couple of cobra, then a couple of disaronno and coke and finally vodka and coke.

And probably wake up New Years eve and do it all again.

    :D

haha sounds like your going to have a wicked time xx

Elsie bought 12 the same, which cost £6 and gave an APG of £4.30.

11 + 1 would give a slightly higher APG as 10 of the 11 would compare for £4.30, and the odd one would also give a small APG depending on the price difference.

    Womble for Savvy:T:T:T
    [...]

Hi there, present-wrapping night tonight (in theory) so can't spend all the time here.
Many thanks for the comparison details. As far as the Bakers dog foods are concerned, that £1 price (less 10%) for that small amount of gs. is sadly too expensive for me, especially as the 2 for £3 mbuy has returned as it should (but really, for our purposes, shouldn't).:mad:- I'd only consider comparing vs £1s if the mbuy didn't show and the items came back with full prices:rotfl:.
I've dissected that womble, as you can see!, noticing they bought four 4pt milks and thus made M more expensive:(.

Well, it's nearly Christmas which means... expensive prices everywhere!!:(:mad: So much so that I cancelled B'matching Sains to anyone (or even buying anything in S) - certainly wasn't going to match them to those expensive Mr A 'savvy buy' prices. Nor did much in T, that I haven't got before, take my attention. I need a price incr in Sains. on the 4 pack BE Crispy Chickens, T due to stay on £1.62 till near the end of the year but Sains. at £1.62 is no good to me.

Looking at Mr M's website (me trying to see if they have a Budweiser I have on a womble - if it's on offer this week, I'll delay the receipt, if it might be up in price and possibly on offer last week, I'll enter straight away - seems like it's an N/A vs everywhere) - m.co.uk appears to have just a very select few items per 'shelf' now on the offers - and some of the prices: !!

A pack of fresh 750g Sprouts for £1:eek::eek:. (Aldi currently have 750g Sprouts pack at 69p:T. Also 1.5kg Carrots pack at that price.)

There are some good items though - Jacob's Biscuits for Cheese 250g to go on at possibly 10% off 94p (I say 'to go on', as need to wait for APG to update) - under 40p/100g for M's substantive price is a good price per unit. Also Q.S Matchmakers (130g) - £1 r'back may have been a rip-off price - now 95p in M, beware they don't appear to be on msm now, so won't compare on APG. But, just in case they should be on an mbuy offer in A - perhaps 2 for £3:rotfl::rotfl:- this is a long-shot but never know - watch for any mix and match item that is on offer elsewhere.

Fairy 870ml Original or Lemon washing up £1.33 - that's a reasonable non-glitched price for that amount of Fairy - best price I've seen since W's 2 for £2 offer of ages ago. So they may be Avs M fairly soon.

As for the 'Savvy Buys' on msm - :(:(. 4 pack of Pink Lady Apples in Sains. are now a 'Savvy Buy'. What - are they £1 now (with a glitchy mbuy on A)? No - Sains. any 2 for £3:(. Avoid.

    So:

    Aldi
    Sprouts 750g 69p
    Carrots 1.5kg 69p

    Lidl
    500g Parsnips 39p
Whole Cucumber 45p (in abs. of any major rival of A daring to go down to match A's price on them - price 'locked' in A at 50p:(). Also apparently Cucumber at 45p in Aldi according to msm.

And from the result from womble today (Northern Ireland skip to the next post) - the receipt was very soiled, so I'm pleased it came back with nothing:(.

    Avs W
    1x Go-Cat Complete with Tuna Herring and Added Vegetables (825g) £2.00 £1.83

    Avs M
1x Huggies Soft Skin Wipes with Shea Butter (64) £1.00 £1.00
1x ASDA UHT Real Cream Aerosol (250ml) £1.10 £1.00 (though don't know from this whether best buying 2 - M has sometimes been 2 for £1.50 on its aerosol cream)

    Thank you!:)
