Didnt realise it was to do with his teeth:eek:
Glad he is making a good recovery x

A nasty tooth abscess spread into his jaw/ throat, his jaw was massive and he could hardly open his mouth, and it triggered sky high ridiculous blood pressure. He had to have an op to sort it all out and needs various other procedures still.

I have previously known someone who had terrible problems with his heart as a result of dental work that got infected, he and his wife were basically told to go home and plan his funeral. Not what you expect.
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Evening all......

Mixed issues with the A v S shop I said I was doing this afternoon.

Our useless A's had no Asda bakewell tarts on shelf.... these match £1 to 75p. (Too many mince pies out me thinks!) They also had no dog food for Clicksnap, wanted it to do APG against S price. Loads of other 6 can packs, but not the puppy in jelly one needed! (I don't actually mean 'puppy in jelly'! :o ) A's better hurry up and get on with building our new store, although it's somewhat further from where I live, but not too far from my folks.

    Anyway....
16 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparison ASDA Sainsbury's
    +£5.88

    1 x ASDA Small White Rolls (6) £0.53 N/A
    1 x Mr Kipling Bramley Apple Pies (6) £1.49 £1.00
    1 x Mr Kipling Bramley Apple & Blackcurrant Pies (6) £1.49 £1.00
    1 x Aunt Bessie's Boat Shaped Yorkshires Perfect for S... £1.50 £1.00
    1 x Aunt Bessie's Sage & Onion Stuffing Balls (12 per ... £1.00 £1.00
    1 x Aunt Bessie's Large Yorkshire Pudding (6 per pack ... £1.50 £1.00
    1 x Haribo Tangfastics £0.10 £0.10
    1 x ASDA Non Bio Sensitive Powder - 30 Washes (2.4Kg) £4.00 N/A
1 x ASDA Extra Special Sliced White Oaty Framhouse Bre... £1.00 N/A
    10 x Cow & Gate Grandma's Sunday Lunch 7mth+ (200g) £7.90 £4.00

Comparison total (compared products only) £14.98 £9.10

Baby food working, ;) Aunt bessies are also for Clicksnap, but on mys the Asda non bio is supposed to match to Sainsbobs one for £3, so i'm not sure why it didn't work? Oh well, I'm only as far as buying my second box since getting quite a stash from T's sometime back. I knew I should have got more but just couldn't store it. :rotfl:

Pleased the baby food worked elsie, 12 jars for £1.70 :)

Washing powder is outside of the 10% weight range (A 2.4kg, S 2kg) so wont compare.

    Yes....he's obsessed though

Today he asked me to buy some squid. I did, thinking nothing of it as I don't have anything to do with the meal planning side of the operation.
This afternoon there he was in the kitchen with all the little squid laid out on a chopping board with a knife in his hand. Ooooh I said, what are we having? (I had a masterchef esq creation in my mind)

    ............lasagne, he said :(

Yes I bought some squid said so he can (hopefully) feed it to some blinkin cod and then he'll make me eat that instead even though he's already feeding it to me twice a week as it is  :rotfl::rotfl:

He fishes and cooks.. can I keep him for a week!

    Please xxx

Do these not have to be used with the card that they are linked to?

    Evening all.

Hope everyone is well. Had a good day did we?

I am going to start off the NY resolutions liss:

    * Spend all points accrued on various store cards! Almost wet myself when I read this thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4355059

My £60 were stolen and spent in Oxford. Luckily T managed to recredit them after I called the police and action fraud. I did wonder where 60 points had come from because I can't know anyone in Oxford who has one of my cards. :rotfl:

Good Evening All - Tripped over 8 bread bins this morning and that reminded me I need to buy stuff to fill them with to give out as bread bin hampers. :o I think I have missed a lot of offers. But still have a week to fill them. Luckily I won't see most people until after xmas so may get some good stuff in the sales. :) Hope you are all well.
