Wow. Well done them! You have every right to be pleased. :)

    Thanks Pacifica

She works very hard. She has a natural ability in maths, already has maths certificate passed two years early but the rest she has to work for.

I am pleased because she really I wanted to pass.

I dont think it matters how long your loved one has been gone for, this time of year can be very sharp and all those adverts of happy families and songs that !!!!! your memory and suddenly drag you back to a time when you took it all for granted are always right there. Family and friendship are wonderful things but the flipside is so painful. I dread this time of year, 4 years for me and its so hard to see everyone gathered round the table but she is missing. I love love love seeing everyone happy but I do wonder if it will ever feel right again. Huge love to those that will be missing someone round the table this year from me xxx

Hugs to you too. I guess at least we are remembering them, painful or not. I think I would be even more heartbroken if nothing reminded me of those I've lost. Hope that makes sense.

  • I've just realised something, sounds awful, but I am really missing my Mum :( She died nearly 31 years ago but I guess nothing can ever fill that gap. Anyway, they just played her favourite Christmas song, an unavoidable one (White Christmas) and I burst into tears! Now I understand why I am feeling a bit low I can get through it, but she never met my kids or my grandson and I really wish she had at least managed that.

Anyway, I am not after sympathy, it was a long time ago and I should be well over it, but those of you with mums still around, whether sick or otherwise, treasure them and give them a hug, you never know what is around the corner :)

Thank you for letting me get that off my chest :D

Same here Enterprise :( My Mum's favourite christmas song too :A I just try to remember the good times but you never stop missing them.

Morning all, spotted this last night on the dark side.
Its a personalised message from santa. My little boys face was a picture as watched santa talking to "him".
Then I did one for my Mum---absolutely hilarious!!
