Nivea Shave gel - £2.00 on offer in Mr T's
Packs of tissues - £1.00
Hayfever tablets - £1.00
Toothpaste - £1.00 prob get a couple
New toothbrush
Nail clippers - £0.50 in T's

Even though we are married we have our own toothpaste etc

Can anyone else think of anything to add to the above or if they think any of the above is overpriced i've looked for offers etc but am stuck!

Thanks trouble is as we've been saving every penny for last 3 years for wedding and house etc it's difficult to spend money on stuff that we don't think is worth it! Even took DH shopping and said find something you want, we came home emptied handed :mad:

Hair gel / wax
aftershave balm
Mints/Sweets
Cars bits

It is also useful to have in a one pack will feed us four with BLT's to make a cheap tea.
Asda for Beef at 4kg is another good buy. a 2kg joint will do 3 meals for us so under 3quid a meal for nice roast beef/rump steak so whilst the best part of a tenner on beef may feel alot, it does spread over many meals and also left overs.

:T:T I agree about Ts cooking bacon. I usually rummage through the packs & always find one with lovely rashers in it. Tastes nice too. I've bought a pack to cover the turkey

I've been buying reduced Ts roast potatoes (B3G1F) & just freezing them.
Also already bought (again reduced) fresh gingerbread sausagemeat stuffing & chestnut & sausagemeat.
Plus Whipping cream can be frozen too. So Pavlovas are sorted.

All I need now is a cheap turkey

In the 99p shop there is some... maybe for the evening shift ... but lubricant!!
