Good morning all xx
I've been thinking about doing xmas food shopping on Xmas eve to get some good bargains.....as we are a bit short of money this year.....
Do any of you do this ?....if so have you got any good tips for me please....I.e ...not to get everything at the last min or what times the best to go?
Hi Louj101,
Your shops may be different but I could not rely on reduced food from my local sada. Two years ago it was fab last year next to nothing.
The tosco which I visit periodically has queues and they would budge up or share neither will they leave when the service person gets fed up with their greed. but they just wait it out !!!!!
If you have any cash just now could you not try for reduced meat etc just now I know I know that I read someone already had a reduced turkey in their freezer.
If you are really short would you qualify for stuff from your local food bank- no offence meant. I know that my dd and me have quite a few bags to donate next week.0 -

I'm finally home!
It took an hour and a half to get out of there after packing up this morning
I'm knackered now and am just chilling on the sofa while my dinner gets cooked for me
And I've got Costco mince pies- O.M.G they are the best ever!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. That one - it's neat & seems extremely well made - just a bit bigger than one of those large 4 slice toasters. I think it's going to be big enough for us but actually wondering what size the XL Philips basket is. I 'think' it's got a bigger basket than the Philips £89 one BUT as peeps don't put basket size one difficult to tell. I think it's the same size basket as the viva one? Gotta go - if anyone has the other ones can you put basket size internal.
It also looks good enough to have on the work surface all the time!:D:D:D:D:D

Get on your local facebook selling page and flog some stuff. Its quick, no fees and you can always find something someone wants. Been waiting half the year to flog a fold up bed we dont need, put it for sale now as people need yhem over xmas so got more cash for it. You will be surprised what you have in the loft/garage/under the bed or in the kids wardrobes etc.0 -
Don't you love competitions to win a years supply of something? I love reading what they reckon is a years supply.......
Today RSH are offering me the chance to win a years supply of wine.......that would be 5 cases/60 bottles/1.15 bottles a week. 5 cases of wine would be a nice prize but a years supply would be nicer:rotfl::rotfl:
