I cooked one of the Asda rump joints yesterday and it was one of the best beef joints I have had for a very long time ! Used my dear departed MIL's enamelled roasters (must be about 100 years old!) and cooked it on a couple of chopped up onions and a couple of glasses of red wine. Really good - fork tender. If only I had room in either freezer I'd get a couple more. B***** the rib of beef, rump is fine !ELITE 5:2

Afternoon all, hubby asleep so wondering whether to go to T's for Nouvelle, milk, Lurpak and cheese? Not forgetting whoopsies.
Bought us a present from Amazon - one of those Duronic Air Fryers - OMG it's SO good! Perfect fluffy chips from potatoes with just a few sprays of Olive Oil & haven't tasted fish (frozen) so good in years. Threw away deep fat fryer about 20yrs ago as not too good for you, I swear this makes everything FAR better than in oven. SO easy to clean too. I've also done apple & other fruit turnovers packed with whoopsied fruit from the Jus-rol - easy peasy. I think our oven will be going into semi-retirement quite quickly.
Just posted this as I know some people can be hard to buy for and am sure any parent would be mightily pleased receiving one.
I am craving crispy seaweed so going to see if any cabbage is whoopsied, I might even splurge on non whoopsied. Anyone know which is best to get?0 -

That one - it's neat & seems extremely well made - just a bit bigger than one of those large 4 slice toasters. I think it's going to be big enough for us but actually wondering what size the XL Philips basket is. I 'think' it's got a bigger basket than the Philips £89 one BUT as peeps don't put basket size one difficult to tell. I think it's the same size basket as the viva one? Gotta go - if anyone has the other ones can you put basket size internal.0 -

How far are you venturing WIRS?
You're probably not going as far as Npt but just in case Spytty had no Nouvelle left yesterday afternoon0
