    Thank you :)

Just ordered, can't wait to read this. I rarely get chance to read books these days so this will be perfect to read over Christmas in bed wearing pyjamas and possibly socks (why not, what the hell) with earplugs in while drinking copious cups of tea while OH looks after DS (assuming OH makes his flight to the UK on 21st - note to snow: you are welcome only after 22nd Dec)
  • On the nativity theme.

Going back to early 90's when some parents got video cameras, I personally found it a pain when there were parents videoing or taking lots of pictures while trying to watch a performance.
I prefered to enjoy the experience first hand as memories never fade, rather than watch second hand as too busy filming to enjoy.
School did change to a video for sale as it got annoying and kids had a problem concentrating whilst parents filming.
I never felt the need to buy the video but was not professional one just one parent and proceeds went to school.

Never paid for a ticket but was only 2 tickets per child allocated.

:mad:11 o'clock at night was late enough - but it's taken nearly an hour to go through the Tvs A saved list and transfer the items, including moving some into other lists (which will later be transferred to here).

Ah well, I don't mind doing it really. Lots has changed since the last time I posted the Tvs A list.
 is items that I think may be varying degrees of risk, although I may be wrong about that and they may be straight fine.

Some old stalwarts here. Let me know if you disagree with the appearance of any of these items, or any of the other items, on the list below - the items below, stalwarts or not, should all be 'good value' vs A but, if you think they are not or think that something else equivalent represents better value (whether or Tvs A or anywhere else), so that I don't keep repeating my mistake and putting them on this list repeatedly and repeatedly.

You'll need to check a.com in case A's prices change overnight or in case msm is not accurate

I toyed with putting it on my wish list but then thought no one might buy it. So bought it myself. I'll give it to OH then I can read it :rotfl:

We don't charge for the nativity or Easter performance but there is a leaving charity bucket if parents want to donate. We used to have open door policy for the summer play which is year 5 and 6 but there are usually 3 performances and found that whole families were coming to each performance and we were exceeding fire regs. Last year I think we charged £1 per ticket for evenings and 50p for the afternoon so people were more choosy about which performance they came to and tended to spread the family out over the performances. At the end of the day you will never please anyone and sometimes you feel like not bothering at all as it is over and above what we have to do.

:( It must be really quite frustrating, a bit like having the joy sucked out of it, especially when you've put so much effort in. So thank you for doing just that :T

I know I cannot wait to see DS in his first playgroup concert on Monday - chances of crying = quite high :o

I cried in the summer - a few times, the first class I ever taught did their last play before going to high school :(
