Used to be free, now have to pay!

Not allowed to take pictures/video of my own child before or during the performance, yet they have a professional dvd taken that we can buy. How can the former be against child protection yet the latter isn't? It's all about money making!

Not even called the nativity any more, now the Christmas performance.

    Rant over.

Parents have to fill in a disclaimer now to say whether their child can be photographed/videoed at all in school now. And believe it or not there are parents who refuse so that means that the dvds are editied so that these children are not filmed. Any money that is made is either donated to charity or spent on the children in the school.

You can't record your own child's performance?? That's terrible! I can only assume school budgets are being squeezed so much that they've been forced into it.

Stand in front of the guy making the DVD? :rotfl:

    Only half kidding ;) :A

Had to educate a new till boy at As tonight - I handed him my APG, he scanned it .... and handed it straight back to me!!:rotfl: I actually had put it back in my purse then suddenly realised what had just happened and gave him it back telling him he needed to make sure he kept them as his till would be wrong - poor wee thing was mortified but grateful, bless :A

Anyone received their Tes Clubcrd Christmas bonus voucher yet?

Yes, we are always asked here before a performance starts if there's any objection to people filming and photographing. I have never heard any myself.
