Got all of DS1's things safely back home :)

Had a very unproductive day otherwise, Bespoke M&S voucher wouldn't scan, or be accepted by keying in the number, store said they'd had quite a few of Barclays vouchers not working, and to contact Barclays..... will have to be tomorrow now.

Name and shame 2 T's stores that wouldn't accept the Nouvelle vouchers. First one was Haslingd0n, no excuse/reason given.

2nd was G0rton, refused as they say they only accept "safe" coupons.

Was going to let it go, but after the 2nd refusal, tomorrow is contact T's head office time.

Hope everyone's had a very good day today :)

Yes, we are always asked here before a performance starts if there's any objection to people filming and photographing. I have never heard any myself.

We have to send letters out to parents every year which ask them about filming/photographing their children throughout the year. We always get a number back refusing permission which obviously we have to abide by but it is a hassle as when we are photographing practical activities, school trips and events we have to check who is on the list not to be photographed/videoed at all, or not allowed to go on website or in any media.

I can imagine what a hassle that must be from your side. DS2s primary school were big on taking photos. In fact they all got a DVD when they left with loads of photos going back to reception, it's priceless!
I suppose those that object, or at least some of them must have their reasons?

    Child protection issues generally.

    Debt-free and Proud!
I used to work for a company that made shows for Teachers TV when it was still on Sky/Cable. The permissions for that were a major headache because obviously some of the parents didn't consent to filming. There were a variety of reasons, including child protection issues but I remember it being a right pain in the bum!

Ah nuts I've only got 4% battery left. Better hit the hay. Night night x
