OMG! icecubequeen what a bloody nightmare, I only said on here lastnight that the bad weather was probably following you all the way. Sorry you didn't make it, i know it's no consolation but here's something for you(((((hugs)))))

Thanks for the hugs, they are needed at mo!

Still feeling a bit down about it, its partly due to missing the show, because the kids were excited about it, but i'm more down and annoyed with myself for going in the first place. It was my idea to go and got the kids all excited about it, then got us stuck in that weather, if anything had happened to us I would have never forgiven myself. The kids were pretty freaked out last nite, being stuck in a car, in the middle of the night in strange place, with water everywhere, it wasnt a nice place to be with 2 young children. So I'm just beating myself up about it, because Ive upset the kids so much.

I should have watched the weather better and made a decision not to go. :(
  • Sorry it didn't work out Icecubequeen, I was thinking about you today (well about the lady coming up from Cornwall iyswim, wondering how you had got on). It was very wet at the 3 pm showing, wellies and waterproofs definitely needed. When I was there they had closed off the Dora section and the Thomas bouncy train due to the weather, which was a shame as that was what DS is most interested in.

Well they gave the weather warnings for this area(wilts) and i just thought ok we got alot of rain coming. It wouldn't of stopped me going (esp if i drove). The last thing I expected was the rain that followed, half way up my road people were up to thier waists in water and houses we're evacuated using boats, luckily I havn't had a drop of it in my house!:D

Please don't beat yourself up and as for the children they would of forgotten about it by tomorrow, take them out and treat them instead.
