  • How many hours does your partner work, and how much does he earn? Do you get help with your rent? I assume you do not have children?

    No because i am the main claimaint in the joint claim because i get income based


    He has not had WCA Yyet

    He does NOT work he is on ESA

    We joint rate 112.50 per week

    Yes we get housing benefit

    No do not have children

    Apologies, when you posted a month ago he had just got a 16 hour job.

    In that case, it makes sense that he makes a new claim for the both of you. He will (if entitled) receive a conts based element topped up with an income based element for having a non working partner.
