Then you are going to need to find a way to overcome that fear.
I'm sorry to be so blunt, but you are in a vicious cycle with your ESA applications, and you are never going to move forward until you break the cycle

He does NOT work he is on ESA

Apologies, when you posted a month ago he had just got a 16 hour job.
In that case, it makes sense that he makes a new claim for the both of you. He will (if entitled) receive a conts based element topped up with an income based element for having a non working partner.0
