Could have used the errant chicken to prop it up. Just sayingA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Loved the tale of your day. I work from home also. It is not all others may think it be :rotfl:Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Loved reading the freezer saga, habi

Thanks Watty ... you're right, I'd never knock it because I feel very fortunate to be able to work from home but as you say, it's not all that others would think and I've had to work hard with some people to convince them that I'm not necessarily "available" for drop-in visits, long phone chats etc because I'm "at home all day", especially on deadline days!
But the days often prove very interesting ...!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Morning Habi,
Do hope you are feeling better and regaining strength and energy.
And huuuuge thanks that in the midst of utter poorliness, you still got the lavender to me! Have a dodgy hug :grouphug:!
I couldn't work from home. I've been in education nearly all my life and need bells to organise my day!
Take care and rest up. xNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thanks PP ... saga continues due to levelling the legs but I just don't have the energy to relive that one!
Re: working from home ... your nicest thing PP? Then I dread to think about the condition of the facilities of some of the places you have worked in previously m'dear! :rotfl:
Saying that, I do like the perk of being able to go more or less whenever, as opposed to knowing I'm in classes for two straight hours and won't be able to go in between (prolific water drinker here)!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Yesterday's update fell by the wayside due to ridiculous working day, so quick update now before the next one starts ...MFW actions:
NSD; All client money except one in, so have started paying money over ready to make 1st MOP of month later today, need to check account first but should be around £200 I hope.Grey Clouds: We can't seem to get freezer to level but really that's a minor thing in the scheme of everything!
Silver linings: youngest bobbin popped in to pick up parcel (his are always delivered here as his block of flats are a bit dodgy for parcel thievery). Brief cuppa and chat but he was on his way to work too, so short and sweet!
Daily declutter: pile of post and parcels in corner of hall now taken away by son ... Not sure I can count this as it wasn't my clutter but hall table is definitely clearer now it's all gone!
Simple Pleasures:
Late supper of cheesy omelet with Mr Hbbb after his long parent eve and my long deadline day ... we've both earned our Friday this week!
Hope everyone has a great day, soon be the weekend! x
