Hope all's well wherever you all are!MFW actions:
* NSD (3 in a row)
* got some money through today so,planning cheeky account shuffle tomorrow, see if I can't organise another little MOP.
AA day 20 / 100 = £480 / £ 2,000Grey Clouds:
Hospital trip - I was hoping to be let go from the consultant's list but no, more things to see and be jabbed with and possible referral to hospital in big smoke if latest idea doesn't work. Feel a bit glum about that but hey ho.Silver lining:
Mr Hbbb came too!Except when nurse came to collect me from the main waiting room she asked him if he wanted to come too and he said "no, I'm reading my book!" So I had to sit round the corner in chairs all alone! He said afterwards that he didn't get what she meant! Hmmm, must be a bally good book is all I can say!
Daily Declutter:
Not a hope!Simple pleasures:
* Early nights after long days!
* Sticking to meal plan rather than buying more in even though DSD2 has been with us for most of the week.
* Hospital scales didn't seem as cruel as usual...only a couple of kilos more than the bathroom ones!
Keep well all and enjoy your Friday! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Sorry but I burst out laughing at Mr Hbb's comment he was reading. Bless him..Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Hi Watty ... bless him indeed!
The footnote is that the nurse was a bit .... um, unique shall we say, and once she had me safely weighed and assessed she went back around to him and started badgering him about what he was reading and whether it was any good, so he didn't get his peaceful read anyhoo!:rotfl:
Hope you're doing ok ... I can see from Toots's thread that you and I are both likely to be re-cluttering our work rooms with mini envelopes!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Happy weekend all! Quick update for yesterday:MFW actions:
Missed on a NSD as needed deodorant and treated Mr Hbbb to yellow snickered crumpets for the weekend! He also broke his duck by buying 5 bottles of gin to make the sloe gin this weekend. Said he felt like an old soak in the checkout queue!
:j Helpful note for those making their own sloe gin too ... Morry's G0rd0n's gin is currently selling at 50p less than L*dl's cheapest gin!
Money shuffle and MOP of £90 made, so as of yesterday:
AA day 21 / 100 = £ 570 / £ 2,000.Grey Clouds:
Haven't found basket of kittens in back garden yet, suspect Mr Hbbb may have been tricking me when he said he thought cat was nesting there.Silver lining:
Managed to stay up past 9.20 last night ... major achievement this week!Daily Declutter:
Working my way around work room at the mo as it's annoying me. Repurposed one bedside cupboard which was not in use in garage, recycled into workroom to extend my makeshift desk with added cupboard space (to be used for money stuff ... perhaps little envelopes, Toots and Watty); also pile of papers collated and shredded (manually as I don't have a shredder).
Counts as 2 to total = 287 / 365Simple pleasures:
* Watching yard mouse through kitchen window whilst I was washing up last night. So cute, picking up any spilled corn etc from chooky bobbins.
* That feeling you get when you know you've really earned your weekend!
And so to it ... hope everyone has a good one! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Hi, Hbbb.
Hope you are having a pleasant weekend.
I understand how Mr Hbbb feels about management. In my previous job I often felt that it was made as difficult t as possible for long serving members of staff, in the hope that we'd leave.
But we all gritted our teeth and hung on, and we're rewarded in the end with a decent redundancy package. Hopefully he'll be able to keep his head down and not attract more unwelcome attention.
You mentioned about hospitals, where I seem to be living at the moment. For the vast majority of my appointment I actually come out feeling worse than when I went in, I'm sure it's not meant to be like that!
Hope you settle down with your meds soon

Have sussed out the envelope hints, by popping on to toots' diary! I tried it once, as NSK recommended it on one of her challenges. I kept it up for, oooh, 5 days(?) but found I was in such a tangle it was totally stressful!! The relief when I gave up the system was amazing!
I do note down everything that I spend - and if it is a c shop purchase then I also put what it was. But the thought of using envelopes again gives me the shakes! Good luck !!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

 to you both!
Just for budgeting Alchemilla, usual envelope instead of a pot or see Toots's thread for 31 envelopes for daily budgeting!
I've retrieved 31 mini envelopes out of craft stash but not sure what route to take with them as with working from home, I don't really need to budget for outside or accidental spends on a daily basis really. However, I like the idea of keeping one per day in my tickler file though so when I have spare £ or so I can put it in the envelope for a particular day and have an envelope of spending money ready (eg: going to the Ideal Home Xmas Fair with mum in November)! :T
I'll probably stick with my pots for the rest of my separated household budgetty bits! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
