I'm all excited about getting started in the garden again this year and I'm itching to start planting but it's too early yet so I need to be patient that little bit longer, I'm thinking of maybe getting some sweet tatties this year to try so will see if I can pick some up on Saturday

    Hi Elantan

I know what you mean, have managed to turn over two raised beds in preparation for planting and hope to start some more seeds off at the weekend ~ that's the trouble with a little bit of sunshine, it makes you want to get out there and get on with it!

Mind you, sounds like you'll be in a win-win situation this weekend: good weather = garden, bad weather = brand new roaring fire and happy decorating!

Hope you're having fun and aren't letting that work stuff get to you

Sheesh it's been so busy here, we got the two fires fitted ... The downstairs one works like a dream but the living room one isn't quite right yet, the guy has been back out already to try and fix it and is returning tomorrow.

The fireplace has been plastered, the rest of the walls nearly stripped and they will be plastered tomorrow and Wednesday,Mr El has taken Friday off and getting two floor sanders so that we can do the floors ... Then next week starts the painting ... It's been crazy times and further crazy times ahead

The mantlepiece looks stunning though, I'm really impressed with it, we have had our coffee made on top of the fire as well so were starting to get the use of them

I also managed to go tattie seed shopping on Saturday, which was exciting and fun, this Saturday I am going out with a friend to look at wedding dresses, not something I would choose me to do but the girl doesn't have anyone else to go with her

I have had a few Tilly tidies thankfully but nothing great ... Just enough to keep my concentration ticking over :)

Also had a very short time in the garden... It was great but hard work, Mr El had also had me out gathering wood... We had chopped everything and got on top of the wood supply, now it looks like a forest has sprouted in my garden :)

Phew think I need to go lie down now after reading what we've been up to

    Hope everyone is well :)

Thanks tatty ... Will be doing my best

Sometimes I just wanna scream Ggggggggrrrrrrrrr it's not been confirmed yet but possibly the no1 B1Tch in our work place has got the new supervisor role, Mr El says well it's my own fault for not going for it ... But my plan was to go to uni so no point, however that may not be happening now due to the mess up with the testing session that was meant to happen when I was on holiday

Think I will go and lie down in a corner and cry :(

Normal service will resume shortly ... Sigh
