Belle!! Good to see you back
Thank you muchly!
Westie am LOLing at your towels. I didn't tell you guys about my new haul of towels. My Uncle is OCD and went out and spent £170 on new towels. He was throwing away his 'old' ones, which were really not old in the slightest. Mum rescued some, I was thinking like 3-4 would be coming to me. She arrived with a washing basket full to the brim with rolled white towels. And when I say white I mean bright crisp beautiful glowing white, unlike my 6 year old grey white towels. Apparently they aren't soft any more so he needs new ones. Bonkers, but I lapped it up. Have thrown away some of my grimmest towels, but kept a few for going on the little ladies bed. I always wash the towels separately because I am phobic about rubbing things on my face if they aren't clean. So they all go in a very un-MSE 80-90 degree wash.
Levi bless your friend. I hope she raises plentyvery sweet!
My jeans are as good as they are going to get. it won't be noticeable especially if I wear my ankle boots which go over the top of the affected bit. My tracksuit bottoms which had a pink bum came out clean which I am overjoyed with
I am still meal planning. Badly. :rotfl: x

I love towels, what a lucky girl you are, (you deserve it though) but also like you have to wash them on a hot wash. All my other washing I carefully sort though and would never put a pink t shirt in with white jeans - oh to be able to wear white jeans again!!:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Don't bring your towels for me to wash, ladies! Our washing machine has a hissy fit if you ask it to wash at more than 30°!
But at least the colours don't tend to run...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Decided to read some other diaries here, clicked on yours Lilty without realising just how long it was and still managed to read all 156 pages in less than three daysAlthough I've been curled up in bed with the flu so had plenty of time to read
Can I just say that your motivation and sticking to the diet / budgeting is brilliant and puts me to shame? Honestly, reading your diary from start to up-to-date really shows just how far you and Jelly have come in the past two yearsWell done for losing those pebbles even with your health issues, that's fantastic! (And yes I'm weird because I say stones and pebbles instead of stones and pounds, but in my defence talking about losing pounds makes me run to my purse / banking app to check all my money's accounted for :rotfl:)
 Am I the only person who doesn't separate their washing? I genuinely just chuck everything into the machine and it turns out fineWestie those dusky blue towels sound much prettier than beige; I think you should wash your jeans a bit more often with any clothes / towels that might be in need of a new lease of life

Before I know it NOA will be back marvelling at yet another topic we have covered in here :rotfl:
 Hello Selene and welcome to the madhouse! Feel better soon! Flu is nasty indeed and not something I often get as they jab me as soon as it turns cold. I'm amazed once again that people read my diary! Madness! But hope it kept you entertained some of the time you've been laid up!
Westie we will have no talk of posh folk in here :rotfl: Us common as muck types are far happier with your own words
Apple I think your washing machine needs a talking to! 30?!? Do you use that dettol stuff? My friend uses it religiously to kill off nasties. She has so many cleaning gadgets to stop her house getting germy. Totally OCD! The worst one I've known and I thought I was quite bad hahaha!!
Right am off to sleep. Night lovely people's xxx
