Poppers....
Delicious as long as you are following low carb. Deadly for the waistline if not!!
Speaking of things deadly for the waistline. Today I decided not to miss out as a colleague brought cream cakes in for his birthday. I chose the least sugar option available and for 7.6g of sugar that netted me a chocolate eclair. So good and so naughty. I've done 11k steps today and not been for a walk. I don't feel like it to be honest. I've a terrible headache (just a headache though which I am grateful for!) which I think is a combined lack of food today (didn't eat my lunch then scarfed some nuts at 4pm) and stress at work.
Nee mind, it's all over now and another 4 days off... followed by 3 days at work and then... 11 days off :j:j:j
I plan on getting Jellytot out of the house this weekend. We shall take the little throne with us and see how she does. Hopefully all good. Today was a perfect score and she is getting much better. No longer do you have to go and watch and applaud every trip to the loo. She is just getting up and going now without even telling anyone.:T
She has a cough, Him has a cough and a very sore throat which I assume will be bothering Jelly too. I am hoping I do not come down with it. I'm taking various vitamins anyway so will hopefully not succumb!
Dinner was... a failure on Hims part to freeze some thin beef steaks for me, so a hurriedly cooked off and eaten meal of 3 thin beef steaks and a creamy sauce made with the meat juices, double cream and a bit of beef stock. Not peppercorn as I forgot that bit :rotfl:
Trying to raise some energy to either go and walk or go and lump the weights about for a bit. I am going to book myself in for a decent hair chop on Tuesday - and at some point over the weekend will sort out my nails/cuticles and my toenails and paint those at least if not my fingernails too.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening xxx

Forgot to mention:
On... Monday? Might even have been Sunday, on my way out for a walk my next door (nasty druggie) neighbours door was wide open. He had his tv blaring a film and I wasn't going to wander in there, nor could I close the door as it needs locking inside to keep it closed. As I walked away down the stairs, there was a wallet on the staircase. I picked it up and checked inside and it had his bank cards in there and a £10 note.
I went back and shouted him and banged on the door but nothing. So took it out on my walk with me, and when I got back his door was still wide open. I carried on banging and shouting but again.. nothing. There was no way I was going to put the wallet inside an open door and leave it there for anyone. So I took it in and put it by my door then wrote him a note on blue unmissable A5 card in big black pen. A nice note explaining where I found it and that I had tried him a few times but couldn't raise him so when he got the note.. please knock on the door.
No knock by 11am the next morning. His door was finally closed when I went out so I posted the wallet through his letterbox knowing it was safe.
Yesterday after hearing nothing from him at all.. Him got a knock on the door in the afternoon. Neighbour asking for me. Him told him I was at work, and neighbour proceeded to explain he wanted to say thank you so very much for his wallet, that all of the cash and cards were still in there and I am a 'diamond of a girl' and Him should hang on to me, because ANYONE else in the building, ANYONE would have taken that wallet and I am the only person in the building without a doubt that would have given it back :rotfl: He even shook Hims hand bless him.
It's funny, I don't like him and I worry about jellytots safety with him, but I am always polite and nice to him, and would never ever dream of stealing someones wallet or letting others take it. Maybe karma might send me some roadkill or something eh
I love karma. It comes to everyone in the end, good or bad.xxx

Glad you liked it Hummingbird. I was thinking of you, Me&O and Westie. I thought in all honesty it might not be very useful but it even being out there in an article like that might lead to further breakthroughs and help for people.
and the more people who are armed with information the more people can request something like this be available!!
Hoping we all get a better nights sleep tonight! I really need to go out and walk and I am just turning into a zombie!!! xx

Ruled.me is a fab website for low carb meals INOD. And there are some really lovely recipes I would otherwise never have tried!!
Apple.. I'll leave my bluetooth off today eh, to let you catch uphahaha!!!
Have just applied for a Halifocks CC and been accepted. £21 cashback tracked on TCB - somewhere around a £2k limit given. I only wanted it to buy a new phone. Mines actually coming apartnote to self, let the toddler have old phone and never ever ever let her touch the new one... EVER. I've wanted a new one for ages but unable to really justify the cost. Now however I can get one on 0% for 16 months and pay the minimum... and pay nil interest whilst simultaneously earning interest on the savings earmarked for it.
I know apple will be horrified and MMM too, but my current iPhone is my link to my mum and dad when they are hundreds of miles away. It also allows MIL to contact us and see Jelly on FaceTime from her iPod when she is struggling to get over because of work. The battery dies constantly despite being full, at any blow of the wind or low temperature. Facetiming on it is limited to a few minutes now before the battery burns out, or before the speaker gives out and they can't hear us. It is also the thing I use dozens of times a day to take photos of Jellytot and pass them around the family. It is too old to get insured, and not broken enough to warrant a claim on the house insurance and the subsequent rise in premiums for the sake of what they would give me towards a new one... I could do what most people do and get one on a contract and pay it off that way but I resent paying any more than the £12 a month I currently pay to get less minutes, texts and data than I currently have, just so they can earn hundreds more than the phone cost from me.
So.. judge me at will - I'm not listeningThe cashback has given me £21 towards it... Only another £599 to make :rotfl:
Now... a question! Does anyone know why turmeric is supposedly so good for you? I've been reading up on drinking it in milk but I can't figure out why on earth it would be such a potent health benefit supposedly yet have so little written about it.

Apple is not horrified at all. But is feeling really smug that you put her in the same sentence as MMM
.
I did say to dh that I want a clever phone next time. He said that I already have a clever phone. Maybe it's the user that's not up to scratch...
Is HIM joining you on the keto eating? Would have thought it would suit his muscle-building goals? Is there still a stash of protein powder in your place - or am I making that one up?
Just for the record, I did a mega workout this morning, as dh took dd to dance classes. Upped thr number of rounds this time. Next time, I up the reps.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
