    Still awake.

    Heaving down with rain.

Tempted to get my paperwork tin out and start figuring stuff out. But telling myself to shut up you silly woman and go to sleep.

Am not used to keeping my mouth shut on here. Normally I tell you everything. This one I will blast out as soon as I have signed some paperwork. Won't have to worry then.

How much do solicitors cost? I only want them to take some paperwork in for me, give it a glance and then I can send it back!

I'm still awake thought I would try and balance YNAB and I failed for some reason it thinks there is 800 in one of my accounts on reconciling when the side bar shows the correct balance of 43.00 having to refresh back to a earlier save to see if I can find the issue....

I too need to be asleep back to the hospital being picked up at 8 (well let's see, after weds hoohaa, if A they turn up B they are on time, C we make It on time to my appointment which no doubt will be for ten mind then back in the car to come back. Videos/catchup TV downloaded for what I assume will be a slow ride there and back :-(

Good morning Lilty and sweet dreams if you get to sleep before jelly wakes up

Hope you managed some sleep, lovely one.

And hope the 6 years of the 'thing' hanging over you and lurking in the background will soon be done and dusted.

And also hope the liver function tests are simple and quick and painless.

    Hi lilt,

Just a quick question is your liver test because of the painkillers you are on? I just ask as I have never had mine tested and I've been on my painkillers for years ...

    Let me know :)

Hope you managed to get some sleep.

  • I got my solicitor via a work referral. He gives me mates rates and cos I hear about him from chit chat in the office, I know his reputation is good. He is also available for free advice as and when it's really needed and will tell me when he will need to start the clock. Given my experience, I'd def say to try to get a work referred one and make sure you let them know why you picked them. As for the liver function test, I have one every six months. It's not a biggie esp as if they detect something, as your liver is self renewing, it can sort itself out.

    Take care.

Hope you finally got to sleep - I'd have suggested my counting 1 to 10 and repeat, but as it's part of my insane mantra probably best not followed :rotfl:

Most solicitors do 30 mins free as well and seconded/thirded/fourthed going with a recommended one :)

Good luck for a dry walk to nursery and hozzie tests :)

    Hi guys

Had my test. Turns out there is no blood in my right arm today :rotfl: and the left one wasn't too easy to play with either. It finally trickled out into the tubes.

Westie the liver function test is for a low level antibiotic I take weekly and have been on for 16 months or so now without a break. They couldn't care less about the armfuls of painkillers, anti-histamines and steroids etc I take so don't worry! I also have kidney issues and they are still not worried so honestly I don't think there are any real contra-indications :)

Solicitor help... thanks guys my boss had said that local places could do me 30 minutes free and was happy to recommend me across to someone who could do a favour as such. I was really in a tizzy last night, it was not a fun feeling. I didn't get much sleep but I have already done my 10k steps and more than double my 'active minutes' for the day. I've picked up meds from two different pharmacies, popped in and got myself weighed, had a mooch round town and had a skipping rope bought for me.

Then... I discovered in a puddle that I have a giant hole in the bottom of my second paid of £5 trainers. So off I trotted promising myself no more scrimping. I had some extra cash in this month and so I just went for it. I am the proud owner of trainers 3x the price of any that I have bought in the last 15 years. But they are built for me, mould to my foot with wear, are waterproof and breathable and not garish and horrifically pink and chavvy. SFD lost to dramatic requirement for new footwear before walking to work tomorrow. But hey at least I covered it with fleabay sales :)

Anyways.. got myself weighed. I've now lost 6lbs in 2 weeks :) Quietly happy with that as I still don't feel like I am actually doing it properly yet. On the plus side bulletproof coffee is rather lovely!!

And whilst I think of coconut oil. Arrived back from the hospital this morning to a box outside the door. My H&B order which should have been nearly £90, was £53, with £5.88 cashback and £12.12 points... was at the door. Glass jars of coconut oil x2 smashed because although it was in one of those balloon bags, they had not sealed it or blown it up. Glass everywhere. And a pack of macadamia nuts blown open and probably full of glass for all I know. I rang and spoke to a very nice lady and explained it had been left without a signature on the doorstep in my very dodgy building and about the state of it. She replaced the entire order for free :j :T to H&B customer service.
Now what to do with 1.6kilos of macadamia nuts, 2 kilos of epsom salts, 4 jars of magnesium tablets, 4 giant bottles of coconut oil (I rescued it!!) and 2 packs of xantham gum... :D

I rescued the smashed jar as basically it had completely shattered but anyone with knowledge of coconut oil knows that it is a solid when at room temp. I undid the lid which popped the entire glass jar off, and then rinsed and scrubbed it then strained it through a muslin into my almost empty other jar. Minimum wastage :D :j:j

So. A good day all in all today for such little sleep. Hope you're all ok!! Thanks for all the help and advice again. Where would I be without you all? xxxx

Hi Lilt, hope you get the solicitor stuff sorted, that feeling of worry and pressure isn't fun at all.

6lb weight loss is excellent, well done. :j:T

Yay to new trainers (which sound very comfy) & also yay to H&B customer service. :T
