Great cake, sounds like Jelly had a wonderful day. :T:j
I've never been to an oesteopath so have no clue what is normal but it does sound a bit odd. Definitely check out the technique.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Lovely that your parents have spent these few days with you. Hopefully the happy times make up a bit for the sadness you are all feeling at the moment.

I know it's a bit late to wish Jelly a Happy Birthday (well, there's still 10 minutes of it left) but I am. Glad you both had a good day.

Brilliant Peppa cake!! I made a peppa cake for my two a few years back, I totally cheated though and just made the "garden" & "picnic" and bought little plastic figures they could play with afterwards :rotfl:. Happy belated birthday Ellie!!
I wish I had taken a picture of my before kondo-ing and after! I also have so much room on my wardrobe floor now it's great :T I can actually find a whole pair of shoes/boots with just one glance :T:rotfl:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Can't believe I'm late to Jelly's party  A belated very Happy 3rd Birthday to Madame
and a fabulous cake there. Well done :T
Hmm on the Osteopath...I've been through 2, most recent years have been with a female and she's never done anything like yours . Does get up close and personal to work on my hips sometimes (me curled up on side my bum pushed into her groin whilst she hugs my knees, tilts/twists/rocks/manipulates) but that's about it.
How an earth have you made time for more kondo-ing amongst visitors and celebrations :rotfl:
Hope YNAB has been given a good talking to and sorted. Savings are fabulous as well - well done mrs :T

DFW I am the same with the kondoing. The bottom of my wardrobe has a shelf about a foot and a half up that has a plastic box full of clothes in it. they were Him's clothes for when he is here. They all fit into the box but then two onesies made their way here from his mum, and he got some clothes for a birthday present.. plus he has bought a couple of bits. And suddenly his capsule wardrobe in a neat little box with trainers included in there... has blown up!! The shelf underneath is full of his weights and dumb bells etc, and I have a giant bar I can barely lift stored with my ironing board/airers at the side of the wardrobe! So I was cramped for space. The weights etc are still there.. although if he doesn't start using them properly again and drinking that 5kg bag of blooming protein shake I am going to store them in an empty cube in the corner of my bedroom. To this point he has successfully argued he uses them 3x a week at mine and it isn't practical. But he has used it once in the last 4 weeks.
Anyways, now the box is stacked with all of my t-shirts/tops & jeans/jeggings/tracksuit bottoms, in the way she advocates to view them all without rummaging. My underwear has it's own box on a shelf in the third section of the wardrobe, and my hoodies/jumpers have all been kondoed and stacked sideways on so I can see them all at a glance :T Him now has a shelf in the third section with his clothes all kondoed onto it, and his hoodies/lounge clothes which make up 90% of his clothes all kondoed above. He even has a little box full of kondoed boxers and socks. I threw out two sets of bedding now that I have bought the second replacement duvet set. So I am back to two full sets stored properly and two spare bottom sheets and 4 spare pillow cases, all stored together inside a pillow case
Ali my osteo does the exact movement you are talking about as well and I never feel odd about that one. Nor do I worry when he is twisting my arms behind my back, threading his hands and arms through and then body jerking me when I drop back to pop a few sections at once... but just those two seemed particularly intimate for no actual reward for me personally. I feel like what am I supposed to know because I don't have the degree, and some of the things he does seem utterly bizarre but work wonders... I need to sort it out!!
As for the making time... I don't know; blame it on the fact I can't sit still for more than a few minutes at a timealso avoiding talking to YNAB has free'd up a lot of time for procrastinating
greyfox technically it is still her birthday for another half an hour yetas she was born at 4:17pm so we are still within 24 hours
thank you! She has had the most lovely couple of days and we have been rewarded with a wonderful little lady instead of a demon child
Levi will do, but remember no spends allowed
Right, couple more pics for you. Finally got my Xmas present from mum
Me&O and Levi know my minor obsession with Unicorns... This is an original hand drawn stunning sketch/drawing by one of my favourite artists. And my mummy saw me gush over it on Facebook and got in touch and bought it for me, then had it framed unbeknownst to me! Am so in love! It suits my personality oh so very much...
Next up.. Peppa prior to the cake and fixing
Mum and dad took Jelly out for a play on her bike, while we got our cake on.
She was so impressed when she got back and my dad who doesn't even like cake LOVED my cake baking
