Buyer wanted combined postage but paid for all items before I could send invoice

Hi there
I'm an infrequent ebay seller. One of my buyers asked before the listings ended that she would like to combine postage. I said that was no problem and not to pay straightaway as I would send an invoice.
Unfortunately she's paid for all 3 items before I could send the invoice, so I'm not sure what to do. In the past I would have just refunded the money and sent an invoice but now that ebay are charging fees on p&p (new to me!), if I refund will those fees be reversed?
Many thanks.

Hi, I don't think you will get the fees back, but personally I would just refund with a smile, you won't be much out of pocket if it's a couple of pounds we are talking about...0

That's what I was thinking! So should I refund all 3 items and send an invoice, so it's covered for one package?0

Thanks for your advice btw

Just do a partial refund for the excess. When I do it, I deduct the extra fees that the customer has cost me by not waiting for a combined invoice, up to you if you do the same.0 -
in the past, i have posted the items then refunded the actual difference. So say I had charged for postage at £10 but it was only £5, I then refunded the £5. I've also done that with items I couldn't guess the postage price and advise the buyer what I was doing and why postage may be higher than they thought.0

I have got a bit tougher recently and personally would refund the difference but less the 10 or 11% fees.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
